    Budget 51-70k Video editing PC

This. I was in the same dilemma and decided to go for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum but later on read in a few articles that 13500's max TDP can reach 154W whereas Hyper 212's TDP rating is 150W. Therefore, I went with Deepcool AK400. Very happy with the decision.

Budget 41-50k Is the Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 desktop a good choice?

Since my query is related to pre-configured desktop, I'll include only the relevant questions and add my own. Hope it's not something against the rules. I've been trusted to build/get someone their first ever PC with below budget. Given the budget, I thought it would be a good idea to get the...

PC Peripherals New Cabinet, system refuses to boot

Just to check if the installer is able to detect a working HDD, I removed a working HDD from another system and attach the HDD in the problematic system. Even this is not detected by the installer or seagate seatools. What baffles me is that the DVD ROM works perfectly while the HDD doesn't...

PC Peripherals New Cabinet, system refuses to boot

I did try windows repair as well, however, like I said, it doesn't detect the HDD at all. I tried connecting the HDD with all the 4 SATA ports one after the other and with different SATA cables but still no luck. Yes, I did reset the BIOS after the re-assembly since none of the methods I tried...

PC Peripherals New Cabinet, system refuses to boot

I just bought a new cabinet and after putting everything back, my OS (Win 7) refuses to load with the error "Error loading operating system". I've checked the BIOS and the HDD is detected by the BIOS, and i've also set the proper boot priority. Thinking that the boot loader may have been...

I had no wifi issue on stock ICS but on ParanoidAndroid (CM9 based). I posted the solution that worked for me here in XDA forum. It may not work for you but no harm in trying, all the best.

Samsung Galaxy Note - Discussion Thread

It's not recommended to do wipe/factory reset with ICS whether it's from the phone' settings or CWM. As for flashing a kernel, you need root for that. I've been following the discussions in XDA closely regarding the eMMC bug and they haven't come up with a sure-shot solution. SpeedMod and...

Samsung Galaxy Note - Discussion Thread

I'm also in the same dilemma. While i know that Class 4 will be enough i'm tempted to go for higher class cards since i do a lot of file transfers b/w my Phone & PC. I've been looking at this Sandisk 32 GB Class 6 card, waiting for my salary to decide :p. In the end, it boils down to how you use...

Samsung Galaxy Note - Discussion Thread

Class 4 should be enough for the phone's max read/write usage, i.e. 1080p video recording and playback. However, higher class cards will make a difference while doing file transfers b/w your phone and PC.

Samsung Galaxy Note - Discussion Thread

Just flashed the new ICS Speedmod kernel. File delete is defenitely faster as the default ICS delete method has been disabled (possible cause of bricks). Let's hope this fixes the bricking issues.

Assuming you are on stock ROM, you can update it through OTA/Kies. No need to download the complete ROM file.

But most probably, it still has the eMMC bug (brick).

Samsung has released the Source Code for ICS, follow the discussion/thread here. Hopefully the devs will come up with a way to solve/avoid the eMMC bug and we'll get back to flashing(thon).
