Yes, it would be smooth but not as smooth as say jumping from 30-40 to 60FPS I guess. I’m fine with 60 right now given I mostly play story based single player games. If it were a first person sumhooter I’d remove the frame cap.
yeah, I’m blown away by RDR2. Clocked nearly 150hrs on it and still haven’t finished the story.
Hey guys, some concerning news. Yesterday my PC shut-down itself twice when gaming. I think the reason for this is me manually overclocking my 3000Mhz RAM to use 3200Mhz XMP in BIOS. I’m not an expert in this so have turned this off.
A thing to note is that when the PC shut itself off on its own, it wouldn’t turn back on when pressing the power ON button on the case. I had to do a power cycle OFF/ON to get it to boot.
I noticed the same behaviour today. I put my PC to sleep and after 3-4 hrs turned it back ON using the power button but it wouldn’t boot. Again did a power cycle and it booted. I’m not sure what is happening. Will keep you guys updated.
Try a BIOS reset if you messed up some settings.
3200 XMP should run fine with your config. Perhaps the power supply is causing the random shut downs.
