How are the silicon power brand ssd?
TBW ratings are on the higher side. I would say look up nearest service center before purchase. Many people recommend the brand, it was more into server SSDs before I think (not quite sure about the last part).
For example, Crucial BX500 1TB has 360TBW rating,
Kingston A400 1TB: 300TBW.
Samsung 870 QVO 1TB: 360TBW.
Silicon Power A55 1TB has 500TBW.
Samsung 870 EVO 1TB: 600TBW.

For those who are not familiar: TBW or Terabytes Written is a measure of endurance rating for SSDs.
% Remaining Drive Health = (Actual Terabytes written/TBW Rating)*100
Once actual bytes written cross the TBW rating, drives are supposed to be out of warranty even if warranty period is not over.
TBW is important since NAND flash chips that make up the actual storage space have a limitation on how many times they can be rewritten.

1k coupon not showing for me.

I suggested this laptop to my friend but he ended up buying hp laptop with ryzen 5625u and no dedicated GPU for 64k from a retail store. o_O
Not everyone needs a gaming laptop & I will also recommend a thinner & lighter laptop for normal usage, easier to carry. Dell G15 is bulky even among 15" gaming laptops.

I personally don't listen to salesperson at all, for better or worse.

Asus TUF M4 Air Mouse @1999
ASUS TUF USB Gaming M4 Air Lightweight Wired Gaming Mouse with 16, 000 DPI Sensor, six programmable Buttons, Ultralight Air Shell, IPX6 Water Resistance, Antibacterial Guard, and Pure PTFE feet

Beware this has holes on grip side, too. Might interfer with grip. Don't start discussion on this though.

If this was a curved one at this price, I would have bought it.
Yeah initially, i was looking at ultrawide options a lot. But these tend to be very overpriced in India, 40k+, for 30% more width and with generally worse panels than your standard 27 1440p 144/165 ones.
This acer one looked decent. There were some reports of edges being less clear because of lack of curve or panel defect. But then some were happy inspite of that.

Now, I am thinking of instead buying one with good HDR instead, something that will hopefuly last next 8-10 years and be a meaningful upgrade. Very few non-tv options here, probably will go for Samsung neo g7. Almost bought it from amazon during Republic day sale but someone else got the last piece just before me ..
