Graphic Cards AMD Catalyst & nVidia Forceware driver updates

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

11.4 ? When did 11.3 come out ? The official website still lists 11.2 as latest release ?

Yes 11.2 is the current one and if you read clearly it says 11.4 preview or beta meaning its not the final.. and yeah 11.3 is missing or may be it too has its beta out early itself (DIY taks:))

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

Can you guys tell me which is the best driver for MSI 5670 ?

11.4 or older ones ???

I'm on 10GB data pack on Docomo, cant experiment with different sets of drivers :P
btw, main usage = GTA4, Dirt2, Bullet srtorm, TF2

:D

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

Been using Catalyst 11.4 since the preview version. The current WHQL'd version is very stable. My PC gaming has been on hiatus for couple of months, so can't really say if there is any speed advantage/increments. But overall 11.4 seems like a very solid release. Haven't encountered any issue so far.

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

guys, bought the 5670 today, installed the latest driver & then MSI afterburner.

now the problem is, my DELL ST2210 (21.5") full HD monitor not showing the desktop in full screen.

There's some 1" gap all around the desktop.

All DELL LCD menu, Windows 7 (32bit) & CCC are showing current resln @ 1080p

The "Auto Adjust screen" in monitor's menu is grayed out :(
Using HDMI cable

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

I am currently on the 11.3 on HD6850

should i upgrade my drivers to 11.5 WHQL or 11.5a WHQL?

as both of them are available at Guru3d and are of same file size

Re: Recently released ATi Catalyst & nVidia Forceware drivers

thanks Asingh will get the 11.5a today

anyway, while playing Crysis and Mass effect i am seeing some grainy textures

and Crysis is Freezing like crazy now

what can be the cause for this? is it due to drivers?(11.3)
