These have no invoice and even if they do have one, they most likely smuggled it. Also you wouldn't like to know how they actually get them this cheap, trust me. I have the invoice and customs paid fully on it. You need the invoice in order to get service here.

Never faced that issue myself. Maybe pick another service center? Really weird they ask you for an invoice. I have had service repairs to 6S, and 8. Not once was invoice brought up.

There are states where taxes are zero, like Oregon.

Plus there are countries as well where final in hand prices are a tad bit lower than US ones.

He is genuine for sure… if you know someone in Thane, there is a >50% chance that they know his shop/him.

Also, other dealers aren’t much higher in prices either.

While i get your point, i doubt someone will pay 32k+ extra for a used one for the invoice and customs receipt. When ppl are looking for an imported one, the sole purpose is to save as much money they can.

As someone highlighted, the invoice requirement for warranty is just service centre specific.

Incorrect, serial number is enough for warranty claim which starts with first boot up so it doesn't really matter how really they've imported them to the end consumer.
Also I quite don't understand why'd someone pay freight + 42-50% customs duties to import iphone here when the local retail price would be comparatively lesser. Indicates something shady on your acquisition too

I got it at approx 18% discount on the original price, it was paid for by accumulating research/survey apple gift cards(10-30$ per gift card) from various people for 15-25% discount. So it ended up being a bit cheaper than indian price for me
