Well got a lot better in the bowling. just scored 148/2 with Australia, Hughes 84(35 Balls) , and Katich 56 not out (27 Balls) in 10 Overs :O

Took out 2 wickets in the first over with lee, one a C & B , and one a LBW :). Had England down to 60 odd for 7, but the last 3 wickets dragged on till 95.

TIPS : With the Pace bowlers, try a few last second variations in the short balls, followed in the next ball with full length swingers/cutters. With spinners with the doosra option available, fool them with Off spins for a ball or two and then suddenly a doosra in the same spot. I got 1 bowled and 2 catches like that :)
 
phew...i must i like the game but i dont last more than 15 overs!!:)

btw does the AI bring on spinners?i haven't faced any!

^^ Nopes. The demo was designed to last 3 overs only, and with only 2 pace bowlers I suppose. SO only pace batting experience till now.

@Phoenix: Try the normal mode now. Lasting 20 overs in the normal mode has become easy for me. But I bat a little cautiously and score somewhere around 160 only in the normal mode. :)
 
^Lol. I was talking abt Normal mode only. I havent played on Easy or Hard even once. In Normal i score around 170-190 easily, have scored 235 once :P
 
played a full 20 over match...was a cracking one,ENG all out for 150,i had to score 30 runs of the last 2 overs!!!did it..it was fun!eagerly waiting for the DVD!!
 
A few got em yesterday itself :P

Just had a nerve wrecking match. Australia 123 All-Out in 16 Overs. I was chasing, but got down to 75 for 8 in 7 Overs. Then Anderson and Monty put a good innings taking me to 114. Monty got out. Had a good 6 overs left, but only one wicket. Flintoff looked unsteady, gave two full maiden overs without scoring a single run. Then hit 2 fours, got dropped once :O and then ran the last 2 :D

W00t.
 
Playing the demo now, improved gameplay indeed, but why do they keep repeating the same lines for commentary since 1999??? :@
 
Wow excellent game ...though i like cric07 also...

Scoring increased in two day play only in normal mode ..

Its fun to play play the game with friend with keyboard and controller

Scored 208 in till 11 overs and finally managed to score 230 in 13.3 overs ..some pics -

I want to use the extender patch. Do i install the normal demo then extract the patch to a folder. I did that but it wasn't working :(
 
Install Demo and than extract the demo extender to your desktop.

Double click on Demo extender and select numbers of overs u wanna play and than click on Play now.

It will directly launch Cricket09

Njoy :D
