Okies...Thanks. Will do

Just one question...what is the proper way to shutdown? I though there is no other way then to unplug the power cord:(

Add the transmission startup command in your startup script and not in your S99trans, the file would have been corrupted due to improper shutdown.

Also, you had stated that exfat3 would give better transmission speeds so I formatted using exfat3:)

But the issue is Win7 does not recognise exfat3.

Question:How do I transfer my data to my Win7 Desktop/laptop??

Dinjo...So that I don't screw up
Please confirm I need to add the below script in router-->admin->commands
sleep 120
iptables -I INPUT -p tcp -d 192.168.1.1 --dport 25000 -j logaccept
/opt/bin/transmission-daemon -g /opt/data/torrents/.config/transmission-daemon

Use the command dinjo has given and execute the sh when you need to shutdown :) .....and the settings are placed under opt ....so check that disks are read write and no read only. The file system used to change if not mounted with proper options. Cheers .

Same here. I think this error is related to lib files.

I'm planning to buy a new router..this whole forum seems to be talking only about this model. Is it worth paying 3000 bucks and get this router?

And if slightly less "tight"?

I'm more interested in the N16 but 6k is too much. Any other recommendations?

TonidoPlug provides WLAN too?? Or are you saying it should be connected to the wireless router?

AFAIK, wget doesn't creating multiple connections to host when downloading a file.

aria2 creates multiple connections (you can actually specify the no. of connections to be made).

What's the point in creating multiple connection when wget can download at Max speed using single link

Tonido plug is not a router so no wlan

When had you ordered the router?

I had purchased on 11th and they still haven't shipped it yet. Gave them a call and CC said they'll ship it by tomorrow. :|

I have flashed it with dd wrt firmware. It is working fine with my usb EVDO modem.

I haven't yet mounted any usb disk.I will be getting it soon.

I am also getting a powered usb hub to see if it can access two or more usb devices and can 3g/evdo works simultaneously with usb disk.

I got mine today too! :D Didn't expect it from the way they replied to me yesterday.

Set it up in repeater mode with my existing Netgear DG834G and works really awesome! :D Also happy that I can use WPA2 without a hitch.

Ran a speed test at the farthest corner that will be accessed with wifi. Getting as good as the speed I get on my PC which is connected via LAN to the Netgear, even the ping! :O

Very happy with the performance. I actually under-estimated the performance of my Netgear DG834G. It's no slouch either.

Don't think I'll be flashing it with DD-WRT as of now.
