be very careful , while inserting micro sim with the adaptor to the normal sim card slot holders , because many people while removing the sim , they have broken the golden pins .
if your sim card comes out the adaptor remains in the same place , do insert the micro sim gently and remove the whole set .
I would suggest you apply for a duplicate sim card if you are moving from micro sim to normal sim for a while .
dont do adaptor sh**
What I do is I put a drop of adhesive (fevicol/ dendrite etc) and then put the micro SIM in the adapter. That way there is no way of getting the sim detached from the adapter. But if you need to remove the SIM frequently it will better to go for new full sized SIM.
Actually you wouldn't have the 2G/3G toggle in any phones running stock AT&T firmware. They disable it so that you must use 3G/LTE. The app that you mentioned may work. Also, you can try *#2263# and select the GSM band there. Again this may not work with all AT&T phones as in some firmwares the radio modem is locked and you can't switch 2G/3G in any way. In these cases even you change the selection you'll see that it'll revert back to 3G/WCDMA or LTE after reboot. You need RAT unlocked radio modem to do so which will be available in custom ROMs.sandeepsachin This version of android never has 2G/3G toggle . I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network works beautifully
