Well.. I have quite a mixed take on things..

Id go for Pio 4Way 6" Components for the front.

The GTO937's 6x9's at back.. Power with a Rockford/Pio Amp...

and with a Kicker Sub :ohyeah:....
 
^ No budget for a sub/amp now, its gonna be my dad's car atm, maybe i get the innova/octavia when I turn 18, since my dad wants a compact for the city.

How much are the Pioneer 4-Way 6"ers ?

I also dont think pioneer make 4 way 6 inch speakers....If any can you post a link......I might have missed on the pioneer website.....
 
Um.. I just bought some 8 months back..

Ill have to find the Box to look for the Model no.

Got it for like 2.8k then...

We (me & Milady) picked up a Swift for her office drive....

Delivery expected tomorrow....

Need to put in a decent ICE....

Woofers are big no-no

Nothing flashy...nothing overtly loud...

Just a simple audio setup with maximum emphasis on sound clarity!

Qstn:

1-What speakers?

2- What HU? (Need a CD + MP3 + Aux in, pereferably an ipod connector)

Duh, 6" speakers don't fit a Verna.

The audio guy recommended the GTP937's (Rear) + 2-way Coustic 5" (Front).

Any idea how the Coustic is LBM ?

yeah this setup is really good...most probably even i am going for the same..in my new swift....along with a amp. and a 10/12" woofer.

Pioneer 7950 Head unit -around RS.9500

Rear GTO 937 - RS 3700

Front component GTO 607 set- RS.4000-5000

U may need a decent 2ch/4channel amp with this...setup..wait for LBM to answer...

also u may need to spend around 1.5-2k .on wiring..and installation may be free if all bought from the same shop...not sure..about this.
 
dont remember exactly..but i think i ve seen it on team bhp forums...one of the guy had bought it for this price....

also when i asked a local shop for the price..he also quoted..7950...so it is somewhere around 9.5-10 k..

all prices with bill and warranty..

one more thing regarding the PIO 7950 i wanted to ask is ??why is it so expensive tghan other pioneer models ?

is it cauz of the bluetooth and USB support ??

also ..do we need anything extra to connect the phone and THE HU through bluetooth ??

I dont know about any brand name coustic.....so I would recommend not to go for it.....and yes verna can easily take 6.5 inch easily with spacers.........

If the amp stage is the same, what really is the difference between the SQ of these models except a few cosmetic differences?
 
the amp stage on both the models are the same agree but there are lots of other features also....like EQ, Ipod ready, display, full faceplate, 3 rca, motorized face, usb enabled, crossover function......
 
My friend got the 7950UB the week before good friday for 10.2k.

Superczar - I suggest you go for the Pio 6850/5950 HUs, with GTO937 at the back and any of the GTO427/527.. for the front. Will be under 15k.
 
the main reason am gunning for the 7950 is coz its ability to play from usb pen drives directly without the need for extra connector or adapters, and you can control all the songs from your drive from the HU, maybe get a 20Gig usb HDD, connect and forget lol but not sure if the HU would be able to power the hdd...
