well that kinda my point- i saved for 9+ months to build my new computer and save up to my $1000 budget. then two months after i drop $360(after rebate) of it on my card- a card that is benchmarking better is released for $100 less. the point is it is not good for a company if an overwhelming numbers of its customers feel cheated or short changed and i think nvidia is making a big mistake.
 
^^ lol. Graphic card evolution is inevitable. There are people here who bought 8800gt g90 version and are happy about it. People who have saved money AND done research will brace for impact when a new card comes. Some people will buy a new card, some people will be content with the configuration they got. Vijay your talking a lot of horsecrap and its about time you end it. You cant make your point. You said about the soundcard-is there any logic posting here in the graphic section in the first place??? Are you dumb??

If you cant face the upgrade process, dont upgrade at all! Evolution is a fact of life and it will go on whether you like it or not.

8800GTS 640MB Released in November 2006 & 8800GT 512MB Released in November 2007

I'm using 8800GTS 640MB since December 2006 & it can still run all games very nicely ;)

only Crysis & World in Conflict stutter at high settings :)

look at their new 9800gtx lmao thats a lot of crap how can you call that 9800gtx. i think nvidia is spenind far less time in research and more time on how to win benchmarks (with spiced up drivers ofc) over their adversary ati which i think is lame.

You dont own a 9800gtx right???? So why are you crying like a baby??? Be happy with 9600 card (that is IF you own one) and shhhuush!!
