Another thing of note is that the comp we reached level 7 was a different profile, but I did try copying, now I am not sure if we need to switch the profile name as well!

Dude just copy the entire folder.This way it will be easy for you.

Hmm, I dunno. Maybe you can complete the first area solo, it's really not that big, and catch up till 7? Anyways I cannot join tonight, gotta go to work early tomorrow.

No I didn't. So far so good I guess. But it may be advisable to keep the copy of backup.

I played up till 'Defend Claptrap', completed all side missions, am back to level 6.5, so we can start off where we left!

I used Willow Editor for Borderlands 1 [WillowTree Tutorials - Borderlands Modding Resource] to edit save game files. Haven't tried with Borderlands 2 yet. (Will do after finishing it )

I guess I will take my save game backup each time I play and verify it in each session.

(I am on Badass level 597 now )

Btw, I have also been playing with INI files and will post some tweaks also. (Not mine, with source ofcourse)

That's odd, did you edit any of the files, did you have the same profile name on the 2 computers ??

@Jasku, nope.. both of them had different names.. did you recheck the folder you are copying the save game from.. or try renaming the save game..
