the mids are how it should be unlike pl30 which is too forward for mids ..

pl30 = watching movies
m4=songs
pl30=orchestral music
m4=rock songs

Good News not a single item missed...
Bad news: Build quality is nowhere near m2.. (Even the hard case)
Sound: ok for now... Burned in for 15mins... Ha ha..
could comment after good burn in...

I prefer M4's sound to the M2. To appreciate the difference, I listened to a couple of rock songs, and I was really pleasantly surprised at how good it sounded.
There is nothing bad with this, and it really shines when listening to rock, plus the fact that the vocals are recessed helps it in the soundstage department.
Regarding build quality, yes, the M2 certainly feels more solid. I like the new case, its bigger than the one with the M2 and its always better to have a variety :).

Exactly my thoughts.

I am only dissapointed with the build quality . Rest they are a good investment for me at 2.1K.
 
^^did you burn-in? I did notice difference in bass and slowly getting used to however not upto my liking yet. Still 20-30 hrs to go.
