Usually the courier company will pay the customs duty on your behalf and charge the duty to you + some handling charges.
Fedex/DHL charges about 300 bucks for handling I belive. Armaex etc, charges 50/100 bucks.

mp4nation marks the value as 5$ and the product as a "review sample".
@prateekS - it clears customs because fedex gets it cleared. if they are asked to pay some duty by the customs officer (depends on your luck) then you will have to pay it to them before they release the product to you.

Yup , they do . Inspite of that, fedex have charged @Nalin and @prankie 713 as customs last month for brainwavz r1 which was under the same scheme as this one with free 2 day fedex shipping
