But this is a hostage situation, so they have to play it safe and consequently are on the back-foot.

The fact that the policemen atleast look a little under-equipped for the situation could also be a reason.

I had tears in my eyes as i was watching the news. Feel like a dick as i can't do anything about it. Sitting and watching the news on TV is so painful. I won't blame the officers. Some of the top cops have gone down.

And i seriously hope that most of them should be caught alive. It won't help if they are dead.
 
Whoa IP address of the E-mail traced to Russia!

I believe the ammo+equipt was brought into the country via a Boat (Whose origins have been traced to Karachi already).
 
Now I really want illiterate BJP in power corruption is in both of them but I feel more stronger(with BJP) when it comes to terrorism.

Its a big big lapse in security, WE need a very well trained organization, that will organize and carry out anti terrorist activities..These anti terrorist squads are not enough..

Secondly, these terrorist could have easily passed off as normal guests, look at their faces, they dont seem the normal scum that these terrorists have..these guys arent your usual " poverty motivated terrorists" these seem well off, a powerful agenda is at play...

Yeah obviously, Russia has nothing to do with the attacks, but the point I was making is the height of planning so as to actually use an IP address from there or spoof one.

These guys are getting better everyday in their training and weaponry.

I still don't understand why Senior officers like the ATS chief went in (Though full respect to him), knowing that the terrorists inside were much better trained than most of his men. He should have let the Commandos/Black Cats/Army do its job and co-ordinate from the outside.

Its very very sad...:(
 
First time its such well planned.......

1:: Cant beleive a 300 room hotel taj....and only 4 terrorist still its taking time for the commandos to go in...

2:: If u tell me to go inside taj , oberoi with a toy revolver its almost not possible...and they made there....plus they have all ideas and keep changing room and if police(force) coming near they throw grenades.....this is meticulously plan

3:: Its in news that they(police) have seized a boat which has documents regarding karachi which shows they came in boat......and believe me.....recently i went to alibaug.....and its quite easy to carry such stuffs(arms) from any part to mumbai via sea route without checking

4:: They have called india tv and asking for freedom of hyderabad and kashmir.......and believe me all no way they their lingo looked hyderabadi.....

5:: I wanted to ask where are this politican raj thackeray and bal thackeray or mns workers who are saviour of their land......u will see them once the episode is over...from their glass home barking (and damaging poor ppl) later.....Agreed congress is full of sycophant ....they even dont have a helicopter to take operation ...such is the dirty state of affair........point here is please vote to bring all the changes rather than giving suggestions

Had a sleepless night yesterday.. This is very disturbing. Its like you don't feel safe within your home anymore..! :( Hope that those terrorists are caught alive..!

samajwadi party goons like abu azmi , amar singh etc...want to provide logistics and safe passage to the terrorists. the maharashtra CM is being totally ignorned, he is being kept out of the "Loop". Congress leaders contemplating the ransom demands.

it is very difficult to identify who are the real culprits in this latest saga. the actual foot soldiers or the planners / supporters in power.

for those who dont know about this area (South Mumbai), especially the back and bylanes of Taj / colaba. nothing moves here without the consent of abu azmi (head honcho of samajwadi party in mumbai), prostitution / gambling/ drug running/ exhtortion / kidnapping/ land grabbing / political corruption are all controlled by this branch (abu azmi) of the underworld.

the ATS chief was forewarned about his imminient demise by these same people. exactly how and where was he killed ? anybody having any confirmed news.
