BSNL 3G Thread

Anyone here in Pune (esp Aundh area) facing super duper disconnections ?? Like every 5 minutes or so. I am having a harrowing time currently with so frequent disconnections.
 
Just wondering if I take ipad (micro) sim, and if I either lose it :bleh: or fry it :ashamed: and then try to take a replacement sim, won't our BSNL babus give a normal SIM if we don't tell them ? and won't it still have the ipad plan.

Also if any one knows where can I get a ipad micro sim in Hyderabad, please update

My SIM also died for no apparent reason and me too was nearing the end of the 6 month plan, the worst part is I am out of town( roaming) so need to wait to get a sim until I come back.

Tried talking to a few known BSNL babu's regarding the issue. They are saying most of the new sims they are restricting the speed because it has come to their notice that in many cases people are misusing the unlimited plan by running internet Cafe's on these 3G sim's. Now it seems there is no hope.
 
^ Well, my speed was restricted to 1 Mbps for about 3 months or so out of the 6 months. For you its just one month right. Be happy! :)
 
will anyone be able to procure an ipdad micro sim for me? prepaid would ensure no financial issues.

i would really appreciate this, since there are no micro sims in kolkata at the moment and for the foreseeable 2 months

any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!
 
In Pune the BSNL 3G is really pathetic after 3PM types till midnight. Not sure about night. Frequent disconnections like every 5 minutes and sometimes mobile partner shows only "Connecting......", nothing happens else it will come as "Connection Terminated" and option to redial.

Just few days are left for my net to get over and BSNL is doing this to me :@

Tried recharging my ipad sim today first for Rs 102 then for Rs 99 it did not go through :(.The guy said it could be top up but read somewhere that i should "recharge" not "topup" any idea guys?
 
Helloo guys.. i am kind of new here.... i would like to know any existing 3G plans with and without 3Gmodem. Becuase i am willing to buy one separately if possible.

Also kindly enlighten me some of the important things to lookout in 3G to go forward with a connection...
