BSNL 3G Thread

can i do the 999 recharge for ipad sim in Paytm? Last time, i tried 99 and it didnt work. Didnt get the money back for a couple of days and dont know if i got it later. So i am a bit apprehensive in doing the 999 recharge. Can somebody advice? Any steps to follow?
 
Guys I am getting a new BSNL sim tomorrow. Can anyone tell me which FRC I have to do? Tried searching the BSNL site but its confusing, got two links from there -

1. :: BSNL 3G ::

2. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd

First one says do a FRC of 51 and get 1GB for 2 months. In second link there is no mention of 51 FRC. :ashamed:

Anyone has any idea?

99 recharge failed for me too. Got the refund after i mailed PayTM care about this.
But 999 was successful. :)

Applicability

Any data plan with sale of BSNL data card or any of the BSNL bundled data card

So you need to buy a data card from them too.
 
hi guys, i am buying bsnl 3g data card tomorrow, i want help in choosing the best data card for it.

listed in bsnl website - Linktop LW273 7.2Mbps for rs.2000

but they havent listed the details of that modem, like its upload speed.

is it above 1Mbps?

if i have to buy from market, which brand & model you reccomend.

currently i'm using tata docomo 3g zte mf 631 since april 2011.

recently, for one whole week i couldnt use it, coz their data network was down, then when the network was up the modem stopped working. and unlike airtel who give max of 48 hours for fixing issues, tata cc asked me time till 29th august. i made the complaint on 24th august.

anyways once i get the replacement, i'll ditch tata.

the only properly working tata product is tata sky. everything else breaks down like their cars & trucks. lolololol

i bought ipad microsim.it was locked to 128 kbps.got it permanently unlocked.Qos on msma shows 8690 download.
but still i am getting 2g speed.only once i got 3g speed for half an hour.

I think it is 0 :( Will get it recharged tomorrow.

By the way, Can I do normal Top-Up or do I need to do a recharge this time also? :)

I did Rs. 55 Top-Up from PayTM :)

But still I'm getting the same error :(

i gave a bashing.spent full week visiting every bsnl office.talked to everone.spent daily 6 hr for my sim to get unlocked.even though my micro sim shows it is 3g compatible it gives 2g speed.but browsing is very good.

I guess its some other issue.. I don't think you need to have balance.. iPad sims are Data only right.. no need to recharge main balance. you can't use that 55 rs in any way.
 
Got a BSNL 3G sim today, recharged with 120/- and got 1500 MB @ 30 Days.

Wanted to know If i recharge with 100/- voucher on 29th day, will my previous balance be carried forward for next 30 days?

I would like to know this too. Also how much data do we get with 100/- voucher?
