Okay I have successfully bypassed Jio ONT using the provided TP Link XZ000-G3 GPON unit. I have done the following things:
1. My JIO firmware starts with ARCN so I used that for the serial number
2. Converted it to hex and appended the last 8 digits of my mac address
3. Put that in GPON SN and in VLAN set the tag to 1015
4. I am using a TP Link Archer C6 v4 router where I cloned the MAC address of my jio router.
Connection got established. BUT I am facing one problem
Now if I restart my router and the GPON unit, I don't have internet connection. I don't get assigned any IP adress dynamically. (I have set dyanmic IP in my tp link router). To get my internet working I have to press release and renew in the router settings and then I get an IP assigned. How do I solve this?

UPDATE: Got it resolved. The issue was dhcp was enabled on the GPON terminal as well, which was causing that issue it seems. Resolved it by disabling that.Okay I have successfully bypassed Jio ONT using the provided TP Link XZ000-G3 GPON unit. I have done the following things:

Hey I have vsol and arcn router too. Did you take hex of arcn only and added mac or whole hex of arcn + mac

For those who are able to telnet into Jio HGW , you can get the serial from `
/var/romfile.cfg`, at least on the SCOM unit.

In addition to this, you can also transfer this file (and any other) from within the router to your System using netcat. Unfortunately the busybox binary included in the unit is pretty basic , but I was able to workaround by downloading this static build of busybox into
/flash2 and execute ./busybox nc successfullytirth0jain

I picked trackon, it arrived in 4 business days (Ordered on Monday early morning) . Although i suggest going for G7, iirc it is XPON, and ive read it is supported well. And it is like 200rs cheaper

Im connecting the xz000 G3 V1 onu to my pc Ethernet, I have put the scom hex id followed by 8 digits of my WAN id and set vlan id to 1015 and connceted to my pc. However it doesn't show internet access still.
(Red hue because of bad display converter don't ask)
Is it smth related to DHCP or ip assignment?

The V1 requires 16 digit hexadecimal and what you're saying to do is 12 Digits so how did you do?

Looks like you are registered, so the clone thing has worked. But you say it doesn't work in your router? Are you still using jio router or any other one.
Make sure to disable DHCP on the G3 and let the router do the DHCP work

Oh I need to disable that? I didn't. Also I don't have any other router so I kind connected the lan port from G3 to jio router hoping it'll become an access point but I think I failed there .
What I can't understand is I'm connecting the onu to my computer and it's not even giving internet there. What should I do there?
Edit: it worked! I disabled DHCP and turned on automatic IP assign. Which was said in the tutorial in the broadband forum. I did that before too but didn't work, I changed the mac address of my Ethernet adapter this time to all capital instead and it worked!
Btw, I turned of DHCP so how do I access the onu portal now? It doesn't load after turning of dhcp
