Can BADA OS be compared to ANDROID OS

Hye guys.. My first eevr post,i have been planning to switch to android for quite some time but within my budget (15k) I havent been able to get features as good as of samsung wave 8500. Only problem is it is having BADA OS instead of android OS...

Can anyone point out the pros and cons between them and also suggest if i should go for this phone or not..

Thanks all.... But just now ordered my 1st ever ANDROID (and nothing else) LG OPTIMUS one from letsbuy also my 1st ever online shopping @ 8999.... hope the fone is as gud as it is in talks..

Can we install Android on the wave S8500? I has got 1Ghz cpu, 512MB RAM & excellent dedicated gpu. So, why not we can use Android on this? Honestly anyone ever tried this?

No, the implementation is very buggy as of now. Even the modem(3G, calls etc) are not working. At the moment its a proof of concept sort of thing. But its progress nonetheless.

Exactly. Dont start expecting a galaxy s like experience, even if all the bugs are fixed.
Wait till bada 2.0 comes out or switch to android if you really want apps.

if i was spending 15k i wouldnt get the wave. instead get the defy. it can be cloacked to 1000mhz. but even if u have great hardware in ur bada. but no apps to use it. !
if u know what i mean.
