Are you SURE the IITJEE syllabus consists only of the 11th and 12th CBSE course now ?

Cause that suits my plan even better...

Be careful! Yes, the JEE now only includes the 11th and 12th syllabus, but that does not mean you will find even a single question familiar! The IIT's specialize at asking awkward questions based on simple principles. The only thing is now you won't have crap questions based on triple integration (in my time this did happen).

And there is one more reason to go to a classroom course - you actually have to study. Motivating yourself in other situations can be difficult. When you don't have a choice on the other hand, motivation is never a problem.

^^ The basic problem with JEE is that each and every question is twisted to make it appear brand new.

Infact a whole team of 15 PhD professers spend a whole year just to set the 3 papers.

@ Akshit - If your serious about JEE / AIEEE, you definately need some classroom coaching programme.

Correspondance might help, but nothing like a classroom programme.

All are commercial money leechers in the name of study! Neways they give u a pretty big idea of IIT exams. But now IIT only takes test on syllabus based on 11-12th and no more fancy stuff!

So in mah opinion taking a test series package of these commerical houses will be much better than taking the 2 yr plan in which they teach u everything and better concentrate on 11-12th course hard!

Neways ...Sorry I'm new here....Just landed up here on some friends advice from thinkdigit forums....And didnt see its age old thread.

Yeah.....masti is not in course....but definitely there to freshen up your mind.

Classroom IIT programmes are the "only" way to get into IIT, unless you an Einstein (But you'll still need some correspondance)

Bump.

Guys, wich of these 2 plans would be better -

A:

Engg/SAT/UK(TOEFL + 85 in boards)/CANADA(TOEFL + 85 in boards) -------- Engg=first choice(India or US)/BBA in UK/Canada/LAW in UK..

B:

Corpo Law/SAT/UK/Canada ----- LAW/Eco/BBA type courses

Choisez !

A BS in the US is out of your reach unless you are bloody rich. I should know. I got into Cornell but didn't go (for BS).

Yes, engg in US is called BS.

And if you don't know that, then you had better do some research first and then post here. Otherwise, you may be mislead by incorrect advice people offer you.
