Not a crazy superfan of goldfrapp or anything but i couldn't count the number of times I've heard 'Forever' on Hed Kandi's Winter Chill 06.03, which is my favourite album to fall asleep to. But I'm sure people listen to it for other purposes lol. Introduced by my cousin's Brit wife (his gf at the time).

This one's a really nice and peppy mix. Excellent mood lifter. Also probably an awesome driving song. Now i have to check out the original too!

Yeah - wednesday's always can do with mood lifters.. midweek grinds get to you.

There's always something melodically powerful about the best of 80's and early 90's synth/electropop tunes. Many have aged gracefully!

That's such a good album. Don't know why Opeth fans don't like it.
The last 4 lines of Windowpane....simply brilliant.

There is deep prejudice in me
Outshines all reasons inside
Given dreams, all ridden with pain
And projected unto the last.
For me (probably many others too), when songs are mellow, i can actually understand and feel the lyrics if they're deep and soul-touching. I'm not a big fan of loud, noisy metal. Some metal genres i can't bear, and this was way before the ear issues I guess regular Opeth fans don't like it because it's not growly or screamy enough lol.

Unfurl is totally my kind of song. Out on a walk so can't pay too much attention to the lyrics but i love it.

The problem with new and expensive gear is that you now can't listen to poorly mastered and recorded songs ever again, even though some of them are your favourite. On cheap stuff every song sounded wonderful. On the contrary, this song is so well mastered that it can give goosebumps if I listen carefully.

My playlist is stuck in the past. Well, life was better in the days gone.

High quality headphones recommended.
That scene in Garden State when Natalie Portman makes Zach listen to New Slang after the dog was done dry humping his legs.
