I suggest you start with DMC 3. Its a bit old so you won't find much icandy but trust me this is what you need to get sucked into the game.

Chapter 5 is not even close to being half way through the game. It has a total of 20 chapters. Till 11 you play as Nero and post that, as Dante. You'll return back to Nero in Chapter 19, if memory serves right. If you don't think it "pulls you into" the game, then suit yourself. The first 5 chapters are barely the surface of the game.

I read somewhere that when you play the game as Dante you just have to go through the same levels again.

Yes you do and you have to battle the same bosses in reverse order. Only this time, you'll gain all the Devil Arms for Dante, after beating each bosses. The level variety is pretty limited in this game, it was unique only for DMC3 and DMC1.

The main challenge and objective of dmc game is that you have to beat every boss with style without even getting a single hit.

i once tried dmc 3 in hard mode one hit kill and quite succeeded upto level 4-5 i think.The main pain in the ass in dmc 3 is that agni and rudra boss and that stupid half or full nude vampire lady.
Vergil is a tough boss too but its quite fun to play against him.

In dmc 4 the easiest boss is echinda and the toughest was date himself at the later stage when nero fights him.Other bosses were quite easy yes sanctus was a bit tough too but he repeats the same attack after an interval.

TBH after playing Enslaved recently, I haven't lost all hope with Ninja Theory. Let us see how Crapcom shapes up the next title.

I think it would've been more appropriate if Capcom worked with Team Ninja instead of Ninja Theory. Man i'm sure the game would've been a blast. :(

This means that Capcom has no hope. Its just like the filmstars say they are "in talks with many directors and are looking at various scripts" which basically means they're jobless.

Now this I have got to see. Either they mistyped and meant Devil May Cry 2 OR they are really gunning to making it better than DMC3, which is a gigantic claim.

Capcom: “We Were Surprised At The Reaction DmC Receivedâ€

Responding to the concerns of several members of the Capcom Europe official message boards, a company representative recently reassured fans that DmC will be “one of the greatest Devil May Cry titles ever created.â€

As for concerns over NT development skills please don’t worry. Capcom are heavily involved in the development of all it’s IP being worked upon by outside parties. The exact same concerns were raised over Dead Rising 2 being made by Blue Castle games, which were totally ill founded, on what was an excellent game that ‘got’ everything that made the first game so amazing.

In response to someone who stated that Capcom expected the negative backlash….

We were surprised at the reaction its received, we’d hope that some fans might have gone to more depth to look a bit closer at things in the trailer (a few have done).

And regarding whether or not DmC will be as good as previous entries…

Lets be honest they were great games (averaging in the low 80′s on metacritic) but not perfect. We’re now aiming to make the perfect DMC game that gets 90′s.

No worries. I'm sure they must have been rather small, as DMC3 had a very good storyline. I'd even rate it over the first Devil May Cry. The only thing missing in DMC3's storyline was exploring Dante's past and more detail of Sparda & Vergil. If they are addressing those aspects in DmC, then I'm OK with that. It needs to be handled properly though and Ninja Theory needs to keep in mind how they focus on the new Dante. One wrong move and Capcom would be messing up another one of their top franchise.

well then do watch it when you can.Its about the developers video which was not included in the game.Just for fun.how they carried out the stunts etc.
