I have seen a lot of content blockers like
1.Adblock Plus
2.AdGuard Content Blocker
3.Crystal
4.Disconnect
in the recommended download list of the browser in android.
And few suggested in the list are namely:
1.Adblock fast
2.Adblock
3.Adclear
4.Spear Adblocker
5.Unicorn etc.

On android dont need a browser to block ads.. but something to stop ads on apps/games which require advertisements.

I have a pihole on my network however, it doesn't block everything, so I use ublock on pc and root + adaway on android, also I use mostly FOSS apps on android, except youtube, for youtube I use vanced. Firefox mobile has support for extensions, so u can install ublock and dark reader on that as well.

Pi-hole for network-wide adblocking.
But it lacks in blocking youtube ads most of the time. So just go for Vanced Youtube. Works like a charm.

Edit: On whatever you are running PiHole, create a script to update it daily manually. A cron job will do.
e,g.: `@daily root PATH="$PATH:/usr/local/bin/" pihole updateGravity >/var/log/pihole_updateGravity.log || cat /var/log/pihole_updateGravity.log`
