Frasier, Seinfeld, Fawlty Towers(British comedy), Scrubs, IT Crowd.
For Detective Comedy, I recommend Pysch

On a different Note, you can watch Whose Line is it Anyway which is improvisational comedy.

Before asking for reco, also mention what have you laready watched, so that we dont recommend you that.
Not exactly Thriller, but detective kind that i watched White Collar, Burn Notice, Monk, Luther, Sherlock.... all superb
Dexter can be classified as thriller perhaps.

Also a superb Series based on Courtroom and Lawyers, Boston Legal. :)

While browsing around, I came across 'Profit' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115323/). Hear it's like Dexter, except it's a show from the 90's and was ahead of its time.

Arrow s01 - another big disappointment this year after PoI s01.It Looks Like Gossip Girls wrapped in comic book mythology.acting might be good, but the script and the direction is childish.
The Big C s04 (hereafter) - Showtime has finally let the show go.As usual,Thunderous acting by laura Linney
Copper s01 - Great one, as always from BBC.
Hell on Wheels s01/s02 - Not as detailed and strong as Boardwalk empire, nor as Copper,Still hell on wheels is watchable.A good Second tier Show
Game of thrones - Was it not a bit melodramatic? even if it was,still the best thing on TV I have watched this year
 
Saw Under the Dome yesterday seems really promising show , since its based on novel by Stephin King.

BTW - CBS Love is currently airing the show the timings would be every Sunday 9-10.
