English TV series discussion

Completed watching entire Chuck Series a few days back . Any suggestions on series something similar to that ?

This happens with me. I watch a series of certain genre and then want to watch next series of same genre but I try to watch something different. May be start parks and Recreation. It is a hilarious series. Don't judge just by season 1.

Wasn't expecting that in episode 11 of HoC :grumpy:

But why Frank starts screwing life of Peter ? Why he sends a prostitute on the day of radio talk ? It starts in epi 8 or 9. Because the bill fails to pass and Peter gets angry and ask Franks to fix it ?

anyways, what a great series. Truly enjoying it.[DOUBLEPOST=1381170279][/DOUBLEPOST]watched till 12. Saving finale for tomo. This was one hell of a great show!

I watches it for a while, got kinda boring. now catch up on it, if I have nothing else to watch. Actually, I am not doing that either.

Just finish whole season in one day, kinda time pass series, I like it because all Mexican actress looks hot as hell so..
It's like watching mystery movie for 10 hour because every episode is carry from last episode... I was hoping some violence as it's background against Mexican drug mafia.. S

The Blacklist S01e03 - its turning out to be a good series, specially the way they are setting up for the long arc. Normally series get so wound up in doing their "baddie/monster of the week" they forget about the longer story arcs; its when the mid season finale/season finale approaches they realize oh,that thing. At least they keep adding layers to the mystery and hopefully dont change the formula to baddie of the week only in the future.

So I'm on the 10th episode in Season 6 of Supernatural and though the story has gone batshit crazy, the show somehow still continues to be entertaining. I might be able to explain it better in spoiler tags:

I like the "soul-less" version of Sam. He's more bad-ass than Dean and is really focused. Castiel never ceases to amaze me. His character in this season has turned out to be quite amusing, if not anything else. In the 10th episode 'Caged Heat', I really laughed my arse off when Castiel kisses Meg back and says "I learned that from the Pizza Man". I didn't see that coming. Dean's reaction to that was totally precious. This season is a mixed bag, but I'm entertained so far.

I'm about to finish Justified. Plot is Pretty Interesting,First Few Episodes of Season 4 were kind off boring but later with the Drew Thompson thing kept it going. Timothy olyphant is a Great Actor Doesn't look like a 45 year old man either.
Must watch Series.

Hi... i am visiting here after a long time.
Can anyone recommend me some good comedy shows on the lines of BBT, Archer?
I have watched the above two and would like series which are short on time somewhere around 20-25 mins.
Apart from the above topic can anyone recommend me shows on similar grounds of Lie To Me, something which has applied psychology or close to it as its theme. I have been watching 'The Mentalist' but no where close to what lie to me portrays.

Starting sons of anarchy - Any nudity or Moaning sounds start by Surprise? Watchable when family members are around?
In Need of Real HD epidoes, Can anyone suggest Sources via PM? There is no meaning if i watch 480p episodes when you have 15mbps bandwidth.

Fairly common, those things, in SoA. Wouldn't call it family-friendly.
Scenes in brothels, strip clubs and porn studios come and go.

Started watching the original star trek series 3 days ago...... 50 GB download

Took me just 6 episodes to realise that the new start trek movies are a complete shameful rape of the original series.

I myself started watching Star Trek : TNG.
Also watched a few pilots. We are Men looks promising. The Crazy Ones has potential but the 2 episodes so far didn't wow me. We are the Millers looks great too but would only know more a few episodes down the line.

So in my quest of new tv series... Any one watching or watched the following,

The Venture Bros.
Frisky Dingo
Sealab 2021
Louie
Home Movies
Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law

Ps. These are the shows to watch after being in LOVE with Archer. Pun intended.

I would suggest you to check out Arrested Development. The lady voicing Mallory Archer is in the show. I just love the way she dishes out scathing comments on everyone :P

The first 2-3 seasons of Community should be a good start. Psych is highly recommended, but it has 42 minute run-time.
Just wanted to know is Psyche on the similar lines as 'The Mentalist'? Sadly the latter, it seems, never really took off(watched season 1, watched 1-2 ep in season 2 assuming some excitement, would give it a shot with season 3). I presume you have watched the mentalist.

Yes, that is definitely on my list. My bad, somehow forgot to mention it in my earlier post.
