Season 1 to 8. Of course there are some off episodes here and there, but which show doesn't.

The current season episodes i feel like vomiting after watching. Cheap sexual jokes, pathetic new characters. The humour in earlier seasons was partly sexual, but mainly situational which generated a lot of hilarity.

Since there was no definite reveal as to how sherlock actually did it, there are lots of angry fans currently on imdb spewing venom. As i gathered from that thread, moffat does this kind of thing with doctor who episodes as well, where he creates a complex problem/riddle but never bothers to fully explain how the problem was solved.
 
Fans are bound to be angry as they waited 2 freaking years for the mystery to be revealed. Many are letdown by the season premier, a unusual thing for the series.

what was the point of
1. that prequel video?
2. the sherlock fan club (or whatever group it was which imagined the Sherlock-Moriarty smooch)
3. the thing with Sherlock going over to the head of that group and explaining to him how he wasted his time or some shite
4. the whole "bombs always have a switch to turn them off" - seriously? then the whole 'bomb disposal squads' are pretty much usesless!
5. the whole V for Vendetta rip off - remember remember the 5th of November. WTF was that!

the first weak episode in the series (or the probably the hype is catching up to it)..

finished watching 4th season of peep show. ive never laughed so much watching any series . this beats coupling to be my fav comedy ever. jeremy eating the dog leg and pissing himself in the church were the most hilarious bits this season.

also finished fawlty towers. a damn fine comedy with lovable characters. no wonder its rated so high. wish it were longer

regarding sherlock's explanation of survival, hardcore mystery novel readers are disappointed as well. they raised a vrry imp point that all great mystery writers ( christie and others) never leave you incomplete about the mystry. they respect reader's desire for a conclusive revelation. moffat doesn't seem to get it
 
does anyone else feel bbt is going downhill these days. poor jokes, some annoying characters. overall bland. it was gr8 in first 3 seasons

my thoughts exactly.

Its still good in patches but the overall quality has definitely gone down .. or we've gotten more used to that kind of comedy.

3x01 worst episode yet , feeling disapponted and annoyed

Comedy has been reduced to dramedy in most tv shows. Hell i laughed more in sherlock 3*01 than latest episode of bbt. I think the best comedy we see nowadays has to do with avoid playing safe and go absolutely crazy.

Peep show, coupling, sacha baron cohen and youtube gems like honest trailers, ownage pranks, just for laughs gags, impractical jokers offer a shock value and is so absurdly ridiculous , it stirs true hilarity.

[Here ye thy spoiler begins]:- A bl00dy trip switch?? Seriously? Honestly speaking, Officer Frank Drebin disposed the bomb in a more convincing manner if you ask me. [/And here ye it shall end]

As for bbt.. Havent seen the ep 705 or beyond.. And really, no compulsion to watch em either. Pretty awful since S4 started.. just the odd brilliance here and there now. Behind every fail show, maybe there are those gfs :p
2.5 men and BBT used to be a regular but the former went downhill after S8, and the latter since S3.

Any other good comedy show recommendations? Planning on Peep Show.
Into it's ninth season with rating >8.5 is a pretty decent record.
 
Finished the 4th season of Sons of Anarchy and I was pleasantly surprised with the turn of events in this one. It was much better than the last 2 seasons. Also, loved the OSTs they used in most of the episodes. Will pick up season 5 shortly.

Started with Wentworth and it's a hardcore version of Orange is the New Black. Excellent show. Just 4 more episodes left to wrap up the first season.
