Arrow is fun. He is a tame version of Batman, perfect for TV. I didn't like the first season much, but it has improved vastly since then. Flash has been decent until now.
 
Caught up with this week's episodes
Black Dynamite - Best episode of what has been a pretty average season.
Person of Interest - Still managing to keep the momentum going, probably the best show on tv right now.
Brooklyn Nine Nine - Probably the most consistent show in a very long time.
The Walking Dead - Season 5 has been ok so far but then they keep pulling off stupid stuff like this week's episode. This is the reason i'm not picking up any new shows, the quality isn't as great like it was a few years back and i don't want to get engaged into a story that has no visible conclusion. I'm only gonna watch concluded shows unless something 10/10 appears on the scene.
Also watched both seasons of Derek, not on the usual level of Ricky Gervais sitcoms but an entertaining watch nonetheless.

Last ep (0208) was prolly the weakest till now, and yet wasnt something to cringe about.

Watched 2 seasons of arrow. Its pretty good but the lead character(arrow) simply can't act. Loving The Blacklist though. James Spader is simply too good.
 
How is the tone of Flash as compared to Arrow? And what about Gotham? From the trailer the tone seems quite dark. Read some mixed reviews, but couple of my friends love it. I guess this is a different universe.

Flash is a lot lighter in tone than Arrow. Doesn't take it self very seriously (except for the mandatory 5 mins angst in every episode). Gotham started out shit but it has improved. It also helps that the writers have realised which characters were painful and have sidelined them over the last couple of episodes. All three are a lot better than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
 
Just watched the pilot of flash. Didn't impress me much. Have watched all of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and its steadily getting worse. Will definitely stop after s02.

That's a bummer, coz I find the tone of Arrow itself too light and feel the stakes are never too high. (Although I haven't yet watched S2).
Good to hear Gotham has improved. Would consider if I find time.
 
“The Wire” in HD begins broadcasting in marathon format at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 26 on HBO Signature. The network will marathon one season per day through Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Was best show for me till breaking bad arrive...
