English TV series discussion

I'm hoping to see them renew Bordertown. That was one brilliant series. Some sites there's going to be a new season while some say it's still not certain.

Hope Netflix funds it

Started 'For all Mankind', 4 episodes in the amount of SJW programming is already annoying.
Finished 'Line of Duty', occasionally slow but definitely an interesting show.

EDIT: For all Mankind turned out to be an interesting drama. Though classified as SciF it is more a fictional drama.
The SJW thing was just in the first few episodes and not present later.

This is a pain point. Any movie/tv show with any kind of minority storyline gets pumped up a lot by reviewers.

I guess they are overcompensating for ignoring these kind of stories earlier. The problem with this kind of reviews is that I get hyped up about a show a lot to be disappointed e.g. Enola Holmes.

However some shows with these kind of storylines do get lost in the crowd with superb reviews e.g. Feel Good as well as Russian Doll on Netflix.

A bigger problem i had with the series was that the amount of sex (even though no nudity) keeps it from being suitable for younger audiences even though it's a fantastic space show.

Specifically, a friend's daughter is interested in a future career in astro-physics and this would be a fun show for her. But no way he's letting her watch this with all the sex stuff.

The movie right?

Just wondering, should i watch it before sweet tooth or it doesn't really matter at all?

Because i just noticed i had it when searching for something else, but haven't watched it yet.
The stories have nothing to do with each other but its in the same vein of a reluctant father figure and a child.

Think Last of Us/ God of War etc.

Don’t miss Mare of Easttown!
Finished it yesterday. The acting and slow-burn character development was top-notch as is the case with other HBO shows like Big Little Lies and Sharp Objects.

I wouldn't put the story at the same level though. The quick obvious reveals with a episode to go did indicate that there was another plot twist remaining but there was not much build-up to it in earlier episodes apart from few subtle hints. Wouldn't rate it that high as a whodunnit but probably high enough as a general drama.

Not at all a spoiler. Things pan out way differently.
Yes i have watched the series but you ruled out richard for anyone who is in the midst of the season, whereas you could have just written, things panned out way differently without ruling out any character.

Anyways if you don't agree, it seems there is no rule to not spoil it for others, so it was just a request.
