Started Shogun today and finished 3 episodes.
The show is absolutely brilliant. It's seeped in story and the way feudal Japan is portrayed is so engaging. One of the best shows I have seen in recent times for sure. Still have 2 episodes to catch up to!

Yes it's going good. Hope they don't mess up season end after all this hype build up.
I'm waiting for the entire season to come out. Been a huge Halo fan and suffered through the first season so why not
eagerly waiting for all episodes to drop
It's one of my favorite shows. It's like an unofficial prequel to The Expanse. I found it when I had a huge Expanse shaped hole in my heart.

Just finished watching it yesterday, I really loved the books and I think they've done justice to the source material for the most part. I think it's a solid 8/10.
In conundrum if i should read the book first or just watch the show

I just finished it. It started great then fell off for me after 4th episode.

Yep same experience for me as well. I left it after 4 episodes. Not sure if I will go back to it. This from the same guys who gave GoT ?!! Surely, they can do better.

D&D became famous after their botched up job of season 7-8 of GOT.
PS- Series is frustrating at times after 4th ep but you can finish it in multiple seatings.
Have you watched the Chinese version, I saw many mentioning it's better. I'm starting to watch that one now.
