English TV series discussion

And yea. you do have a better idea. Please, its a TV show. I want to be entertained. If it cant entertain the watchers, its garbage. I don't want TV show's to teach me things.

There is difference between "I don't like Sherlock S03" and "Sherlock S03 is garbage" .. even for a TV Show.
We can safely assume the former for now ..[DOUBLEPOST=1389198273][/DOUBLEPOST]
Person of interest - as someone put it, the path seems to lead to Sarah Chronicle way. IMO its getting a bit convoluted.

PoI is back to its high stakes mode, love it. The creators always go for a larger arc .. and its coming down to a nice finish.
Trust JJA & John Nolan to be extremely competent at this ..

I haven't finished TSCC so please hide any spoilers if you do post about it :)

I have to side with @dexBG on this. Shows have to constantly evolve. I am enjoying this season as much as the previous seasons. I don't want a CSI: London. Even The Wire's setting changed drastically from season to season.

Depends how much of your faculties are receptive.
A person might even learn from a stupid serial.

U don't have to be condescending. If its garbage for me, it is. If its not. It is not. TV shows never will be a learning medium for me. Its entertainment. When that doesn't happen, Whats the point.

Sherlock is already interpreted a million ways. Everything is already written, there is nothing new other than ways to tell. As an avid original sherlock fan, The series is disappointing/garbage/not entertaining as of S03 or the way its being told.
The woman episode of sherlock is by far the most entertaining/gripping/brilliant TV show episode of any type for me and I watch like numerous TV shows. If its not acceptable opinion for you, don't accept.
Now they are feeding the vanity of the character. Nothing else.

Finally got down to watching "Arrested Development"

Goes straight to the top of my all time greats list just below coupling.
The re-watchabilty factor is quite high with all the clever details crammed in there.

Just saw Intelligence.
What an utterly stupid show. Rushed through everything, all characters look shallow and are thrust into forced situations apart from the generally appalling dialogue and script. I'd be very surprised if it got picked up for another season seeing as its competing with The Blacklist
So much inconsistency in the show. Sigh. Lets see if it gets better or not.

Those who were looking for comedy shows, "hostages" gives unintentional laughs due to its gigantic stupid plotholes & premise.
It's a only 15eps mini-series

Completed 'Wentworth' and loved this show. Great characters, extremely brutal at times and amazing performances. Can't wait for season 2.

Was in two minds to either pick up 'Arrow' or get 'Strike Back'. In the end, decided to go with Strike Back. Since the first season is quite short, I should be done watching it over the coming weekend. Might not be able to complete the second one though.

I watched it quite late but found it quite entertaining. Sure there are loopholes here and there, but it's based on a comic book character after all.

Saw Sherlock S3 E2, found it better than E1....

Obviously something different than the first two seasons where the plot was limited to one episode (two in case of moriarty)....

Have seen Elementary S1, feel it was somewhat monotonous but nice twist in the end.... looking forward to start watching S2.... :)

Person of Interest S03E12 - Aletheia

Freaking brilliant episode.

The second episode of the current arc was filled with action, action and even more action. Even though a lot of things happen, it feels like a short episode. I was surprised at one point when I checked the seekbar for the remaining time, expecting it to be at end and it wasn't.

Even though the twists are superb and well placed, I have a feeling that Jonah Nolan has tons of tricks up in sleeves, pockets, wallets and what not. :)

I think you techies might even enjoy the talk about AI and humanity like I did.
