when I clicked on this today I was taken to the first page (and DIDN'T notice the DATE) about a guy who's buying online for the first time which is rare but not surprising. but, the next few comments are all about how trusted Flipkart is lol how the times have changed

I got my MacBook from this seller. Guess was lucky then. Looks like openbox is also a scam.

Yeah, I'm aware of it, but my question is specifically about seller is first red flag. So without knowing the above incident, how can you identify seller is red flag? Also if you look at the seller feedback, lot of people bought apple products from this same seller including me.

Anyways personally if at all I need to buy high value items in online, I will prefer flipkart because of open box delivery. Amazon doesn't have even option of open box delivery. Only learning from this reported incident is, the replacement order does not have open box delivery. So if something goes wrong, always reject and refund.
