Flipkart : Nexus 7 2012 for 9K

I might not even get update for long time, I don't really connect tab to wifi much.
Btw the update won't delete anything right ?
 
Isanyone is using ppp widget, 3g dongle with nexus 7 for internet. How is battery backup. Which is the cheapest modem that support ppp widget+nexus 7 2012 combo.

I was also planning to buy one. but 16 gb version is now out of stock from flipkart!! :( only 32gb version is available.

yes order fast otherwise it will also go out of stock soon. amazon india has 16gb version but they are selling it at 11k. whereas flikpart is selling 32gb version for 12k.
 
Just came to know that 2013 nexus prices have been slashed in US. see link below.
Nexus 7 2013 price drop
So 16gb version is for $200 & 32gb version is for $240 now. which roughly converts to INR 12.5k & 15k. So I am thinking of getting new one directly from US.
looks very good deal. what do you think?
 
I brought one this Diwali for my kid and wife.
Their usage is mainly movies (from shared HDD of PC), youtube, browsing and games.

Till now is it working well, continues the same hopefully.

From my usage for a couple of days I can say that youtube is good, Browsing is fast and over all the performance is quite good.
 
1. any feedback from anyone who uses his N7 to read ebooks too?!

2. with the N7 32GB on flipkart, there's this combo offer of the device+extended warranty. any opinion whether it's worth it?!

thanks! i just need to read ebooks on it at night, and that too, seldom, as i have an e-ink reader already, and with a lamp at my bedside, can read it fine from that too; but the N7 would be used to read in just those times when having a lamp at night won't be possible, hence thought to just ask and clear my doubt once. :)

The N7(-purchase) is actually part of that plan (heading out to sea for sail again, with the N7 this time with me, albeit for a much shorter term)! ;)

Lol. I think flipkart played a nice trick. first show an item out of stock. then again bring it back. This way, people who were thinking about it for long will buy it quickly. nice trick to clear the remaining stock. Btw since the price of 2013 model has been slashed, I am confused what to do. Latest one will cost 12.5k if directly bought from US.
 
I got the 16GB 2013 version and had the 2012 versions as well. Honestly there isn't too much of an upgrade, if you plan to just read and browse. Gaming might throw a difference perspective. For the price and warranty, I guess it makes more sense to get the local version.
