Free Webcam from Microsoft worth approx 6k

I got call from the lady...dang i was busy that time....was rough for me:(...dad called twice wen i was speaking to her. Asked me what i did since morning.
 
I think the webcams should mostly come over the weekend.

Also just came to know that there is also going to be cash incentives as per their e-mail sent earlier today :hap2:

hmmm what mail you got ? did you get one after the speed test ?

can you quote the mail please ?

the thing is after i gave the speed test in my mail ...i havent got any mail or call back from them ..it's been 2 days now..

i had sent a mail back to the female ..but no reply.:huh:
 
My webcam arrieved today :cool2:

but its a logitech one... also not worth the price i had mentioned earlier :( but then therez gonna be cash incentives for the survey :ohyeah:

looking forward for the survey :)

VideoDiary project.

We are eager to get started and hope you are excited as well. First

impressions are everything and we want to make sure that we exceed all

our clients’ expectations. We hope you’ll have fun, enjoy the camera

and cash that you will receive and help us with our objective to

deliver an exceptional research project to our client and all of the

people bringing this together. The project will be open for you until

May 17th for you to participate.

Before beginning your VideoDiary project, your webcam must be

installed and working properly. Please follow the installation

instructions with the Welcome Kit sent with the webcam titled QualVu

Webcam Installation.

Important Notes

• When you first log in to the VideoDiary website you will be directed

to the Tune Up Center which automatically checks your computer and

will walk you through a webcam recording test.

• For each question you receive, carefully read the “Instructionsâ€

panel for specific directions.

• When prompted for access to your webcam's Camera and Microphone,

please choose "Allow". This temporary access will stop as soon as you

submit your answer.

• To play the video question, click the green “PLAY†button to the

left. If needed, you can “REPLAY†the question multiple times for

additional clarification.

• After watching the question, record your answer by clicking the red

“RESPOND†button and begin speaking after the 3-2-1 countdown.

Remember to click the red “RECORDING NOW... CLICK HERE TO STOP†or the

flashing “STOP†button when your answer is complete.

• To view other questions select the drop down arrow button in the

“Questions†panel.

• Your video may take up to a few minutes to load, don’t be alarmed if

you don’t see it immediately.

• And finally, please remember to take your time and relax... there

are no right or wrong answers.

If your connection speed is 256kbps+ den you should have cleared the test..
anyone else who has recd e-mail/webcam as yet?
 
what camera from microsoft costs 6 k :S ? the costliest i found was LifeCam Show? and that too is available for $69 on buy.com ,, not that i'm complaining.. but still :P

EDIT : i qualified with the survey yesterday , the lady sent me the speedtest link , i did the speedtest with speeed ~1 mbps , no email/phone call yet .
