what is ur budget for the card....if u can afford 4670, i think u can go for 9600gt 512 mb for 5000....just 200-300 bucks more than 4670

but in my opinion, i'd go for a better card rather than these high end proccy and mobo, and invest in a better card, if i were building a gaming rig

and HDD with 64MB cache memory wud be preferable, if thats wat u were asking

I'm not a extreme gamer, I've seen some vids off yt and the 4670 could play almost any game (not on highest sets though) How much better is the 9600 by the 4670 ?

Also the 4670 I'll be getting is power color not ati.

Which other mobo do you recommend me ? preferably MSI

THanks

Please suggest me a card, here's what's in mind so far:
cpu: amd phenom x4 965 be
mobo: gigabyte xta-ud4
card: [ suggest] in mind i have the hd 4670
ram: ddr3 kingston as in pune i didn't get ocz
psu: hopefully corsair 550 or cm 600
hdd: 1> 500 gb 16 mb 2> 500 gb 64 mb
cab: hopefully cm elite

Complete budget: 50K

Also am i missing out anything, thanks!

I see you have posted in PC buying advice,
some members have posted the best possible config in your budget..go with it..
what you have currently in mind is not worth 50k..

And if your concerned about the GPU..
HD5670 makes more sense than both HD4670 and 9600gt..
It will serve you for a longer time..

Since you are a casual gamer, i think thats what you need..:)

draglord..
read the rules before posting..

Dont hotlink images..
remove it ASAP before you get an infraction..
Use image hosting sites like imageshack.us

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

removal of hotlink....done

and as for 5670, its for 5600rs at least

and he can get a 9600gt for 4800 easliy.....if he buys from TE dealer's paradise, it'd more cheaper

ans since he's not much of a gamer, he wudn't bother about dx11....provided he has w 7

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

The HD5670 512MB GDDR5 sells for Rs.5250 in TE and sells for Rs.5200 in E. So even with shipping max it would be rs.5350-5400.

The HD5670 is the best choice in the 5k~ budget as of now.

The performance of the HD5670 is better than the 9600GT and GT240 coupled with lower power consumption.

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

wow...i never knew TE dealers sell goods for such low price...

sorry, cos my facts were dependent on outside links

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

HD5670 is the obvious choice, one woudnt mind spending a little more for a more powerful, futureproof card.

HD5670 is the new HD4670.. :p

You can buy online from amarbir if you want..
HD 5570 ~ 4.7k
HD 5450 ~ 3.8k

A VX450 can run a HD5850, but it will just run it, depending on your other PC components..
moreover, it wont give you any room for overclocking.

Therefore, a VX550 is the minimum I recommend..

i second that.
HD5850 has similar/lower power consumption compared to HD4870 and vx450 is capable on handling HD4870 and a Quad OCed.

Its not possible now, because the latest nvidia drivers disable the physx card when a NON-Nvidia GPU is used as primary card.

NVIDIA's Dual-GPU Fermi in April, Mainstream Cards in June - Graphics chip maker to expand its line this year - Softpedia

If u can wait for Fermi Main Stream cards....who knows u might get 5850 at that price if nvidia strikes back hard....
