Primeabgb.com sells Zotac 9800GT for 5.4k
Ask SMC at nehru place to reduce price. Negotiate.

BTW Zotac 9800GT is not listed at Primeabgb.com:bleh:

In that resolution you can buy a HD4670 as suggested by aces,

but looking at the resolution you play at, i think a monitor upgrade is present in future..so,

the best card in mid lower end is 9600gt @ 4.6k

but if you add 1k more you can get yourself a 9800gt..

Please specify your budget.

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

^ And far more priced as usual. :no Until nVIDIA joins the war, KMD/Fizmall is the way 2 go.

HD 4850 + Gigabyte Superb 460W/Corsair CX400/Seasonic 380W =Max. Price : Performance & a better PSU(CX400/SII 380)
GTS 250 + Gigabyte Superb 460W =Nvidia Eqvivalent to HD 4850
HD 4770 + Gigabyte Super 460W =Low power consumption GPU
9800GT + Corsair VX450 =Future proof PSU

Take your pick.

Please open up your cabinet and see which PSU you are using,
If you cant do it,go for a

HD4670 512 GDDR3 ~ 4.4k

Or else check your PSU, mention it here.
If its a good one you can get yourself a

9800gt ~ 5.6k

which will give you much more performance than HD4670.

About the memory, the graphic card memory is not related to your motherboard,
You can even run a GDDR5 GPU on your motherboard.

Iball is not a good PSU brand..
Best to play safe and get a

HD4670 ~ 4.4k

the difference between HD4670 and 9600gt is very less..

Yeah its a good deal..
but please check its warranty..
If no warrant is present, its better to get a

9600gt ~ 4.5k..
at your resolution even a 9600gt can max out everygame..

dude will HD4670 play nfs shift?

is it ddr3 or 2

What resolution do you play at? If its a 17-19 inch monitor then you should probably be able to max. most games with acceptable frame rates.

It has 512MB of GDDR3 memory, which is different from DDR3 memory, just in case you were getting them mixed up.
