ALPHA17 said:The GTX 570 cuts closely while running on the Corsair HX650 while the AMD HD 6970 runs a little hotter but definitely is not a power hog like nVidia cards (and other their other ALPHA DAWG / unlocked editions which run .....
rite said:6970 and 570 are approx equal in terms of performance however, overall the 6970 is about 5-10% faster, but individual victory depends on the game.
However, as an overall benchmark. 580 = 1.2 x 570
580 = 1.1-1.15 x 6970
So you can see the 580 is just 10-15% faster than the 6970 while it is easily 20% faster than the 570. So expect the 6970 to be approx 5-10% faster.
Also, 6970 is like 22-23k not 19k.
With a E8400, stick with the Geforce 8800 series or Radeon 4850/4870 or below!

Do not listen to thegame ,he does not know what he is talking about,and you would get bottle necks in most of the newer games.
rite said:With that CPU even a 6870 is quite a waste. Why would you recommend him a 570?
You should go with a Core i5 + 6850 or above, that will give a better experience overall than a E8400 with 6990/590!
1st of all thanks for giving me suggestion.thegame said:hey buddy as i said when it comes 570 vs 6970 I would go with 570 and am sure either of the cards is a bottleneck if CPU is E8400 ---"Seeing your sign (which is your current rig i suppose) am not sure whether E8400 will be a high/low bottleneck to the GPU update"
Now Mr.Samurai has to say what he is going to do.. whether he is going to upgrade his rig or only change his GPU -- which is not clear and unknown as his question was "Which is best any why? Is both card can run on Corsair HX650? " and i started this E8400 bottleneck stuff![]()

Sapphire and HIS cards are better documented so it is better if you go for these cards.
