i guess our discussions have set in some realization in.. But its d right decision i guess.. he has the jvc 900, Philips 8900 and 9000.. Ideally a smart thing.

I was in urgent need of money. :

Moreover, there was no point in having two similar sounding headphones. Couldnt sell the 8900 due to some physical damages ive caused it.
 
Yup. And I have a smaller head :) and shp9000 doesnt seem to like small headed people. 8900 fits bit more tightly across my ears. And 8900 sounds brighter, maybe at the loss of quality a bit than 9000.
