Help me decide my life

ok for breifing what happened so far i need sugeestions what should i do..

I finished my 10th when i was 15 , went in 11th then in 12th i dropped to appear in SAT and in 12th i appeared in exam sat and stuffs karnataka cet but missed out AIEEE.

now as i had told you some of might know i'm studying in nagpur well what happened is due to some high court decisions pending and a 4th and 5th round counselling my admisson was delayed "i payed my fees though".

now there was a high court stuff happening in maharashtra and they have got order to deny all the admission who didnt wrote AIEEE.and today i got to know tht i wont be admitted and 10 students are going out too.. they have agreed to return the fees.

now heres what the problem I CANT afford to loose another year. its impossible for me to waste 2 years seeing my frnds goin in third year and i'm in first year is not what i can do being a first boy of my school.
i dont know what to do i'm utterly disappointed with my life and i want to leave home.plus if i loose 2 year NO COMPANY is gonna take me i'm already 18+. so before only having a job i'm jobless.i'm hopeless not worthy of anything and i have 2 choices left.

1> waste another year "not possible even if i did i'll die mentally"and no company will take me.
2> leave home give up studies and leave up everything i'll be happy working in a tea shop rather than accepting this kind of stuff.recently my parents are seriously worried too and it has led to some arguments often and i have decided to cut all ties with them too.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Get outsourced projects, easy and profitable. Do adsense and affiliate marketting.

At the same time leave another yr and prepare, if the companies take you fine, you will get something. If they don't take you, by that time you will be anyways earning several lacs a yr.

Chill re... It happens and it happens to many more... Just get ur focus back.. Its not like u wont get any job... 2 years is not much.. Complete your studies, score good marks and you can easily make a difference..

it hardly matters m8.

People take drops for 2 years for IIT.

Companies won't go by this, do well in your studies when you join, try to be among the toppers and its not going to matter at all.

Yeah that's right. My uncle (My mom's real bro, not the neighbour :p) was 2 and half years ahead of his class, and now he's in the Under 40 Millionaires club of San Diego (or some other city nearby in CA, need to recheck), its true. So like someobdy else said, get your focus back, its how you perform and act that matters.

Btw, option no 2 isn't bad after all.

</Jk>

but peoples still makes it to the IITwhich justifies the loss. I know i wont have a very high rank on AIEEE even if i appeared next year but i'll be getting admitted in a good college as i need a ranking.
my counsellor told me he can try to manage some seat here SaIT

i dunno if i shud take it up or not, but guys believe me i'm in my limits its extremely tuff for me to see my friends coming after first year from colleges and i'm not even admitted its utter shame disgrace and what can u say its tuff damn tuff.

wasting 2 precious years of my life is giving me nightmares, can i get in some summer camping anywhere? i have some experience in aerospace stuffs and ofcourse computers.

its horrible when i think tht in the end if i appear next year i'll see at the time i completed my bachelors i cud have done my masters.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me and my damn luck!.

and params no i can do tht stuff for this year not for ever.
for a person who thinks of doing something special like i always did its hard to accept tht only money tht'll make me happy.
i want something fruitful like research or say some special work in aerospace industries etc etc...and ppls told me 2 years is too much no company will recruit u from campus :( is this true?
i believe i havbe the vreativity but if i'm not even recruited or allowed what can i do except having some wet dreams?..

Not at all. No company(I know about software ones, but that's what you'll be going for right?) asks/shortlists you on basis of whether you dropped 2 years before bachelors. They don't even have an age issue. You can get this out of your head. C'mon yaar, I have known people from my college who had some some subjects pending, and companies took them on condition that they clear all of them by year end. :)
The real problem is when you get you bachelors and don't get a job for some time. The companies, in that case ask how/why did you spend that time.

well u cant understand how i feel its killing me.
i cant sit my ass idle for a year shud i take tht college or drop a year?

dont sit idle....go for various difficult computer courses...learn Photshop and some animation and whatever else you want to....

Also side by side with that study for IIT JEE and AIEEE.....

And any company will take you...whoever told you that no company will hire you because you lost 2 yrs is bullshitting.

so you guys are saying its better to drop a year rather than taking admission there?
my friends here r tellin me not to drop a year " months left for this year i think".
what shud i do?

I have anoter option too ... please temme wht shud be best..
frankly speaking its all management seats now..
the SaITfirst link askin arnd 2l and the second colege i'm gettin is this one Best List of Bangalore Engineering Colleges the sixth one here.
i have no idea how they are as they dont have a placement list.....any idea sud i take anyone up?

I'd do that if I were you. Its exciting, great way to pass time and can add more points to your profile.

What a retarded answer to give to a person who's asking a seriously disturbed kid.
X86 - 2 years is nothing in life. My friends here had 2 year drop in college, ( I had one  ) with several ATKTs repeatedly and they are doing extremely well. One is settled in the US and one is in Switzerland and earning a lot of money. Both were from BE computer engineering, and now are programmers in top companies.

One thing I want to advise you is not get into a branch that you dont like. Supposedly...if you hate biology but you choose to pursue it just because Medicine is cool and is considered to be pursued by smart people, you would end up losing a lot more than 2 years.

Looking at you, you seem fit for either BE electronics/electrical or BE computers. Again then it's my assumption that you are a tech savy kid and would enjoy a lot in BE computers, but I think you should go for a counselling session and decide what line of Engineering you should do.

Engineering is a really good line to pursue. You get higher priorities in jobs than other regular graduates and engineers have a high professional status in general in society.

a) if you are ABSOLUTELY sure you can do better next year in an entrance exam, then sit back and wait for next time... s/w cos DO NOT care for your age... we had a lateral entry option in our college and we had 25-27 year old diploma holders studying with us, and they got the same jobs we did

b) if , on the other hand , you are better off paying for a seat in an engg college for now than running the rat race, there is no problem. just make sure to go for some s/w courses like java/ .NET which employers look for . what employers look for most is good communication skills and command over the english language. I had three back papers when i appeared for ma campus interviews, but i got selected in two companies :)

( i still am waiting for those papers to be cleared while my friends are already halfway in training  ... but thats a different matter ;) )

well these things are making me a little better but see if i drop a year iu'll join college when i'm 19 thats crazy age man crazy.
the thing is i cant get over my personal feeling.going in a college with peeps of 17/18 wud make me just feel LOW and low.
its so hard to take!!!!!!
shud i join one of those in bangalore or wait?
greenhorn i just need to appear the AIEEE to get in a good college.
but those blore colleges i posted worth the degree?

see lets chalk out it this way if i wait a year i can get in nagpurs best college and probably MIT, pune but if now those two colleges .. what shud i do?
i have till 31st to decide.

you mean this ?? Sri Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology

Anandanagar, Bangalore-24 Engineering Affiliated to Bangalore University

It is lame...... not good....not worth it..

ok nikhil thanks and what bout the first one? please temme bout tht its askin arnd 2l.

guys i think i need psyciatric treatment .. i throwed away my dinner and my new dresses for pujas starting from tomorrow. i'm going ABSOLUTELY NUTS from inside. this is killing me.

Relax. Visit a counsellor. Put your age ego aside. Sit down for a day. Relax. Go for a walk in a park or something.

I'm 15 myself, here's what I feel you should do-

1. Don't join any crap college.

2. Join a 1 yer program at an IITJEE tuiton place. Study your ass off.

3. Try doing 2-3 courses like say JAVA/Oracle ... a CCNA would be damn good for your resume..

4. Once you're through with the courses, work your socks off. Think no lower than the god damn IITs. Give it your best shot. I know its easy to say that, but if you have the friggin determination, you can bloody well do it. Have a fixed routine. Don't worry bud, you'll get into a good place. And age is just a friggin number. As long as you know you're good enough, you should be happy. You get into a good engineering place, recruitment won' be a problem whether you're 20 or bloody 30.

PS : You said you gave your SATs right ? What happened there ?
