Interesting video. Fortunately they chose liquids since we don't have any consumer testing from the government for liquids as yet.Indian Detergents test.

Biggest problem is they didn't do a control test. That is No detergent and only water as shown hereThere are a lot of problems i can point out, but lets not look down on them.
You have described two methods to clean here.Ideally, they should remove the dirt and soil from the clothes and pour a cap of liquid on each spot. They'll go through an entire bottle looking at the size of the stains. Plus they should have kept the clothes soaking in a bucket for 30 minutes, then used the machine. I saw the machine had a stain removing cycle which they did not use.
I've seen other tests by youtubers but they aren't at the same rigour as this one. It's certainly among the better ones I've seen by Indian youtubers for consistent test conditions.I think they got fed up of doing the repeated tests due to the amount of time it took and the amount of water it took.
You are forgetting these guys know how to clean the clothes. They are just doing a comparison to show people which works better under a set of conditions.Plus there was a power cut during the test. If I had to do such a test, I would choose small cloth samples instead of these vests. Machines waste a lot of water imo. Such tests should be done on identical machines by some company, not people.
