iPhone 4s vs Samsung Galaxy S3

guys please help me choose one of these.. their specifications sound quite similar and i already have an iphone 3g(Got kinda bored with it).
i will mainly use my phone for music, games(if i get bored while travelling or in a party) and photography. ya i do watch videos on it occasionally.
how is the sound quality on both of it? Please help me with your opinions..

again you are mistaken.

apple did succesfully mobilised and commercialised the retina display. it has nothing to do with samsung.
all those shiny new retina displays are made by LG phillips.

what I asked is,
can anyone match or better the quality of retina panels in apple products?

And thanks for telling me that if I dont know about Apple stores, I shouldnt be knowing anything about FDI.

You are embarrassing yourself now! Siri? an innnovation?!? Dude siri always existed in apple store. Only thing apple did was BUY the siri and improve! Since when improving is innovation? Voice commands was there in android since 2007/08.

Bye the way, Steve Woznaik, apple co-founder uses a Galaxy Nexus, I wonder why?

And before you start writing stuff like Apple invented Maps please be informed that they bough a company called TomTom.

Simply because they do not have their own store here(I have heard they have Apple store in Karachi!)
iMagine store or Reliance digital is so horrible that Apple does not want to associate their flagship with them.
The idiots in the imagine store can not even open up a Macbook Pro cleanly,imagine what will they do with an iphone(I have seen a so called Apple expert at one imagine store @city centre struggling for 1 hr with an ipod touch just to enter DFU mode!)

In US or any other country where they have stores, do they sell directly at lower prices as compared to price they sell through telecom service providers?
The whole point raised by fellow member is that if they sell through direct stores, the price would be much less. So want to understand it more. :)

if you cut middle man out of commercial price,
pricing will be fair and about 30000.

1.Display of HOX is definitely better than 4s,but display of S3!?
Infinitely inferior to both HOX and 4s.
2.Siri is a joke,every honest and unbiased Apple loyalist should agree to that.
3.No sir!!4s still outshines both of them in the camera department.
4.The user space thing is entirely dependent on user's perspective,both are pretty good!
And no sir,even the latest of Android with the greatest of HW does crash a lot more compared to ios 5.1.1 .

Its simple dear !!

If Apple is not opening their Apple Store in India & setup service center, I will not buy any iphone till then !!
(IDK what they are doing with their $100 billion cash reserve)

Price is also crucial, so why these Network providers in India don't provide good offers,
just like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint & other providers are giving, on 3G plans(forget 4G).

Of course the cost would be less than 44.5k!
Imagine store sells Macs @ a much higher price than the MRP of the US stores(as a matter of fact those as&holes change the MRP stickers on the retail packages!!)

Absolutely agree with you.
Even androids latest jellybean is crash happy.

My very simple opinion is this.

With android you are guinea pig for google and manufacturer.
Instead of using it , you spend more time fixing it.

Regrading siri,
If you see iOS 6 integration of siri with all major search engines except google , it's superb and surpasses a lot.

An for all android fans, fact of the matter is apple iOS products pay google far higher ad revenue than android.

And apple iPhone ,
You are not at least guinea pig and you can actually use it.

One example
Tethering.
My carrier is same with both android and apple.
Same sim card with iPhone , I am online within one minute.

Same sim card with android. Never could get online within minute

Why so ??

Can any android fanboy explain??

It's something stupid and stupid most implementation in android.

Why contract model is not their in india.

Simple reason is lack of infrastructure and lack of ability to ban handset with bad credit history.
If you want to subsidize the handset, you have to tie that handset with your network.
No Indian operator is capable to do that.

Second

We can't even ban stolen phones with imei black listing. How we can ban phone user who does not follow contract terms.

If Apple is not opening their Apple Store in India & setup service center, I will not buy any iphone till then !!
(IDK what they are doing with their $100 billion cash reserve)

Price is also crucial, so why these Network providers in India don't provide good offers,
like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint & other providers are giving, on 3G plans(forget 4G).
Just look at price of 4S @ $199 :cursing:

Bang on!
May be a tad more,I calculated the price @ an Apple store in SF in Feb this year in Indian currency,it came out aprox 31.5 k for 16GB contract free.
And the thieves here in my country is selling them for 44.5k!!
Some idiots even buy it for 42k and think they have a great deal!!
Worst part is,after paying around 10k more,we are @ the mercy of those thieves for a replacement(that too if you are extremely lucky)
Getting a replacement for a GS3 or HOX is far easier in India!
