Win 7 Still beta right.

Can u specify the exact version number of the beta you are using.

What drivers are you guys using WinXP or Vista ones.

Also many people have seen improved OC's on the Win 7 me waiting for the full stable release might try the beta too.

Yeah still on beta with the 7000 build.

As for the drivers, I use it on my studio 15 lappy and every single driver was either installed during installation or at the first update.

Help...................................

Can Anyone send a copy of Win 7, I will pay for it.

It's a free Beta... download it from Microsoft :)

I have Quad boot Vista64/XP32/Ubuntu/Windows 7

I find that I use Ubuntu and Windows 7 the most, but since it is Beta I would not suggest switching over completely as the Beta will run out and you may get stuck without an OS to use.

I am on 7022, this operating system will rape any previous version of windows.

You are right. Just installed yesterday and its quite fast compared to XP. 7022 is the latest build available on torrent network.

The beta is version number 7000. Don't try the rest - they are possibly fake, malware infested, and might not get security patches.

Wait for the next release if you want a higher version number.

@all

I would suggest that you listen to the man when he speaks :hap2:

Thats good, its probably because microsofts internal testers are using that build, once they get new builds, they'l probablt stop the updates for them, i can say this from my 3months experience with win7, still using the prebeta:hap2:
since beta is being used by a large number of users, they wil HAVE to release critical updates for it..;)

WIndows 7 should be released now..i guess its pretty stable or i guess they are just buying time for the manufacturers of HW as they released Vista recently :) and they were laptops being sold with VISTA capable VIsta premium capable and waht not

^^ Obviously MS don't want to repeat their mistakes with Vista. Guess it will take some more time for the RC to appear, and only after that will we know the exact dates for the launch.

Its better they test it thoroughly than rush it.
