Its really over rated model. Looks good if you see it alone. vibrant colours even make people go OO ahhh in showrooms. But they miss the lack of details on screen. The contrast is poor compared to both R81 and Bravia. On screen contrast is just 1000:1.

And the engine works very badly for SD signals. Even if you manually try to adjust the colours. It wases out the details from the bright areas of picture making it look too bright. Shades of red and blue are over saturated.

This problem is noticeable only when you glance at other good models, otherwise the good bright, saturated colours fool people.

And I dont trust Cnet at all, also they havent reviewed the 32S310 themself ;)

dad went to vijay sales 2day....n tat Sales guy threw sum tech stuff abt LG one tat it has high contrast ratio n all those stuff pluss its damn cheap to compared to others(with home theatre)

so i guess after that Demo he has shifted his loyalities to LG(since its cheap n looks gud)

so is it LG really bad as it is made out to be...or can i go with it(will be plain using Cable Tv)

Saw the Sony and the LG LCD's @ Vijay sales yesterday. Yes the Sony is way better than LG. The LG tv is not bad at all. Tatasky looked best on Sony> Philips Samsung> LG.

which model of LG was it?

I am also confused... Which one shld i go for... V or S series...

I am getting 32" V300A series for 47K and S310A series for 42K in exchange of my old TV.

The diff between these two is very less but is it worth pay 5K more for V series..

^^ yeah its worth the extra 4K ..ask Funky he had compared the two of them V and S series ...and i guess V series is very much noticeable compared to S series...

whatever you buy...... please see the after sales service !!!....( have a onida 29inch ....the worst TV repairers)......if you r in MUM ...go to shops like CROMA or HYPERCITY............i personally like SONY....yet I found Samsung better than some models of SONY(dont know which models:P )..

whats the price diff between the sony and samsung ??

if more u might get samsung and also save some money ...or else u can spend it on a Divx DVD player or a good 5.1home theater....

if both LCDs are good or equal in SPEC,looks etc....go for samsung !!!

I brought the V series today from Sony Mony.. for 46.5K after all discounts and in exchange of my old TV...
Waiting for the Delivery and Installation now :-))

Hi all. I'm Mano's friend. Please have a demo of Panasonic 32-LX700 sooner, in India is 32-LX700, in UK its called 32-LXD700. I had a demo with Panasonic showroom two weeks back, and i was completely blown away by the picture quality. Awesome picture quality with broadcast (tata sky) way better than sony, LG, samsung. Motion tracking is smooth, detail recovery is excellent, and edges are sharper. I loved it, so would you.:hap2:

anyone with views on Videocon 32inch and 40inch LCDs?

I almost booked a Bravia S 32inch for 45K but something inside told me that it was not VFM as what can be so better in it from lesser brands which cost almost 11-12K lesser.

Its Official....Sony Bravia KLV-32S310A ...:yahoo: :yahoo:

Total Damages:43.5K frm Next also got complimentary glass set worth 1k...:clap:

Was quoted 45k at Vijay sales no less...got arnd 1k off frm Next for old non-working tv...

Congratulations knoughtyd. I did ask them what they do of the non working/working tvs. They said that all the tvs go under the hammer, even the working ones.
