If you did see any difference between S and V series 32 inch you must be comparing 32S200 to 32V300. 32S200 is phased out model but still many showrooms have some pieces left.

Or the 32V300 must have been in Theater mode ( which is also there in 32S310).

The biggest advantage of 32V300 is the stand, thats it. Otherwise picture quality wise they are both same.

Also when you go to showroom request a remote and reset all TV to factory settings before you start comparing :p

If stand is not an issue or you plan to wallmount your TV, get 32S310.

fuly agree. i tried and tried real real hard to make out any difference between picture quality and failed. then met a Sony technical guy on official job and he confirmed that 32inch V and S are just the same TVs except fr the stand. all the parts inside are interchangeable between both and bear the same part numbers!!! though 40inch n above is a different story where the Vs start using a 10-bit panel.

so unless u need the tilt stand dont waste 5K on V, esp. since bodies of both the TVs are also identical. IMHO the tilt stand is also not worth 5K.....

it is really surprising how marketting gimmiks fool people into actually beleiving that a product is better.....
