as spoken to the customer care, octroi has to be paid by letsbuy, i stay in Thane & octroi is applicable in Thane, unlike Proper Mumbai.

I had to pay Some Rs.350/- as Octroi but after a few minute conversation with courier guy, came to know that the octroi is to be paid by Letsbuy.

you can abide by letsbuy octroi rules & can pay it yourself, customers like you will be very much welcomed by courier people because they get paid twice.

I think the CC person you spoke to didn't read the company's T&C's :P

Yea,because of worst courier service online shopping sucks big time India.

BTW,I'm checking using docket number.

first you tell me to read the T&C, then you are telling the CC Lady to read the T&C, i clearly understand what is your problem here, if you had paid any octroi before & are jealous who hasn't then its not too late to claim it back, the courier guys give you the octroi receipt as the proof, you can show that to letsbuy & get the reimbursement.

And please do not say anything you want/like if you do not have any information, it is not adding any value to this thread, this information is for all the people who think octroi has to be paid by the customer.

I'm adding the information of what I read and not making it from my own and i don't want to make an argument fight on this.:(

neither do i want to fight nor argue on this, if what you read was / is true then why are they not charging extra on octroi & why are they paying for it, and if LETSBUY are paying for it then what have you got to lose ?

i never read their T&C, i am only sharing information of what i have experienced & this is all that matters for me & people who are not aware of this, period.

Even my questions is same, but according to company website and other sites, there is no 3G on this phone, can anyone confirm this?.
