Was getting getting the smooth 45+ fps. Glad they dint cap it like GTA4/Split-sec/etc.

GTA 4 never capped the frame rates. Looks like you're getting the same performance as I am. Did you benchmark it?

o0 max 100fps! I never knew, as i used to get the crappy ~35fps whenever i tried fraps avg. on these totally unoptimised PC games . Never bothered benchmarking.

EDIT: I thought it was GTA 4 benchmark. Nevermind.

Rule of thumb: Never look at maximum frame rates. Always look at average, as that's what you will sustain on most occasions.

^i know, but am just shocked at the fact that GTA4 can do 100fps at some scenes. OT: Btw, is that liberty city or basic GTA 4?

Anything below the native resolution looks like crap. So I'm satisfied with the current performance.

Nope...got a HP Dv6 2020ev lappy.... Core i7 + Nvidia 250G 1GB Vram

I plug it onto my 32" LCD for Big Screen GAmin

Just finished the demo, then strolled in the city for 30min. The game is exactly as awesome as the prequel :hap2:

Demo was pretty good. Graphics is much better than GTA 4 and runs smooth aswell.

Around 52 FPS with AA on, high settings except shadow detail and 1650x1050 resolution.
