You understand that by saying this, you are in fact speaking in favour of the X360?
How you ask? As you said yourself, the X360 has had the one year lead thus having a larger install base now. So again, it would have made more sense to bring MGS4 to the X360 than to the PS3. So, again, Konami loses. As for the console sales, again - one year lead on the part of the X360. MGS4 also would've contributed to that majorly.

Somebody's getting pwned biggie; :lol:
Konami by now would have made history by selling the MGS4 for PS3 alone; and there's every reason the developer, Kojima Productions had faith in the good old Sony's 3rd gen Console and thus its ported only on X360;

I just finished the game .. BEST GAME EVER MADE ! .. and trust me i have played / tired them all .. This thing is worth spending all your saved money on

KOJIMA is very loyal to his FANS.......dude 30% failure...even WIKI has a long article on it...once again kojima is loyal to his fan ....he just cant piss off his FANS bcos of bad console ..or wait for the improvement in 360 .....think if someone is in ACT5 and suddenly RROD ......only M$ can do such stuff (1st OS ...now console )

Wait. That's your logic? That it wouldn't have sold well on the x360 because of it's RROD problems. So x360 owners don't play anything on it at all?
Also, I can understand loyalty and all, but he's going overboard with it. From his own words, Kojima sounded like nothing but a fanboy. He's letting his personal bias get in the way of his business.

Their haste to get to the starting line first resulted in a loss of over a billion dollars and a loss of unquantifiable consumer confidence, no matter what the PR spin on the Red Ring of Death fiasco is this week.

RROD is one of the reason ...also 33GB on data ....plus its the LAST MGS game.......loss of customers is worst than loss of money.
also every company has a philosphy...they believe in latest TECHNO.....play MGS3 on PC on a FX5200 ...it will blow u away!!.... PS3 is just good for a perfect ending...

totally agree. i just finished act3 & starting act4. the ending of the act3 was so insane i dont have words for it. also the game explained a lot about mgs3 which was really nice.
uptil now mgs1 was the best game ever. but i think mgs4 is equal to that so far from what ive played.

finished the game sometime back. most amazing game / storyline ever. period. awesome end to the mgs series. act 4 & act 5 was a pure delight for anyone who has played the earlier mgs series.

Completed the legendary game yesterday! Have no words for it - the gameplay, stealth sequences, emotions, action - every damn element in the game was refreshing. The ending was totally unexpected.
That said, Hideo seems to have some fetish for looong cutscenes.
A PS3 for playing MGS4 is totally justified IMO. MGS - pwns!

I too completed the game just last week :hap2: after having for over 6 months :ashamed:
The last cut scene was over 1:30hrs. I fell asleep 3 times :rofl: but amazing game.
