MTNL Mumbai reduces 1 mbps UL Tariffs to 999

The upload speeds will be upped to 500kbps once they implement speed caps. That time our download speeds will come down as well unfortunately to what it is suppose to be instead of current 2mbps that most are enjoying.
 
Jumped on the unlimited wagon this month.the website and the CC have confirmed i am on 999..but am i the only one or any of u guys too are still experiencing 2mbps speed.. my transfer rate is still the same as 849NU where i used to get around 210-225 ...newys am not complaining , just a bit worried if the plan has actually been changed :huh:

Why only Delhi , why not Kolkata also ?

Still stuck @ 512kbps unlimited for Rs. 1350 / month with BSNL

I mean we deserve the upgrade to 1mbps unlimited
 
Anybody else facing issues with MTNL today, I am on the 999 1mbps plan and as of now am getting a speed @ 10kbps ... :| wtf!!
 
Got home and I see my MTNL connection is installed. Apparently, there's something on their control room end that needs to be fixed to get running. Logged into the firmware, the ADSL link is connected but the PPPoE login doesn't work - no errors either.
 
something strange today, I have got 849NU plan, and its speed today has reduced to 400kbps :( some issue with mtnl maybe.
 
Got moved to 1mbps UL and download speed is crap of 20-30 kbps anyone knows whats happening even the customer care are not picking up calls

On torrents or FTP/HTTP downloads as well?
 
Has everybody using 512kbps ul @ 999 been upgraded to 1mbps? I'm still getting 512kbps.. :(

Should I lodge a complaint? or should I wait for them to upgrade my speed?

even i am facing this issue since a week, and I thought there was a fault in my line/modem.
 
Torrents sometime gives a speed of 220Kb but that too after re-starting modem several times.
 
i got new connection today. but speed is bit disappointing.. is it just me or anyone else has also experienced slow down ??
 
I got a new MTNL connection past weekend. Easily getting upwards of 150 KBps on torrents. But regular http downloads are poor. BTW, where do I check my account details (plan etc)? Is it available on the MTNL website?
