thts not true....... I just checked downloading a file and torrent...... both gave perfect 200-205KBps

Guys can u pls tell me whts ur connection speeds in ur router....... mine is 2048Kbps and 256Kbps for DL & UL resp....... which gives me 1.8Mbps on speedtest..... some of u r getting 2.2Mbps on speedtest so u might hav more connection speed....... like 2250Kbps for DL

There must be atleast 20 days in between..Before you can change plans

Just got a call from MTNL...said the new plan will take effect in two days ...cant wait :D

You have to call 1500 not 1504

Isn't 1500 for regular MTNL queries and 1504 specifically for broadband ?

Its 1500 ,1504 is for broadband but they will say to call 198 and than their engineer will land in your house thinking its a landlines fault and will cut your parallel lines at home if they exists...lolz.

was there any drop in the speed on sunday? or any other issues like disconnections etc after you changed the plan?

Nope no speed drops..It was constant fluctuated between 240-230 on direct links and 220 on torrents :)
