Karan, I think I told you my first mount had idle temps @ 55C.... that was because I applied a very thin layer of AS5 (just as I normally did with my old prescott). I cleaned the surfaces and applied a bit more the second time round and voila, idle temps were 31C @ stock speed/volts. Even with a 25% overclock, my idle/load temps are 35/40.
Secondly, if you've added enough AS5, ensure the stock heatsink is almost glued to the board

Even if it shakes a bit, it means it's not mounted properly (might be because of the sherawat-like-base lol) and you've got your answer for the high temps. In this case, don't re-apply AS5, just mount the heatsink again and see if that helps.
