The consignment no.,CN on the bill is the AWB no. in case of overnite couriers.

No,the receipt doesnt contain all that details, there is one more big form for that.
 
Guys the seller called me back now.. I told him courier cannot be tracked... He said aray it will take time to update... He said meanwhile you can call Overnite courier ,Dharampura branch, patiala and check whether they have the consigment with them.. He said in case the system doesnt update call me back.

@OP : I have told the seller that we are best friends and the FIR is still not reversed.. So if he calls you again, then dont scare him, just tell him I will withdraw FIR as soon as the shipment gets tracked

why are you so negative, it takes time even for bluedart to update online details, so OP can either wait till tomorrow or call the shipping office.
 
been following this thread from the start,and thats some move Chirag just pulled off!whoa!

as for overnite,the tracking not working has happened to me too.like twice.but,i got the item safely,so,that MAY be the issue.

Overnite couriers is very good. The problem they have is updating their website. There has been no instance in my experience where their website got updated with shipping details before it was delivered to me :D
 
Guys we need to wait till morning, as so many of us said updating takes time. And if we are so impatient than we we can contact shipping branch of courier as seller suggestedand confirm.

And for chirag, whtever the outcome now, you have done a Psycho Job;. You are the ACP of TE branch of CID. Well done dude. Kudos to you.
 
just saw the thread ...gr8 wrk chirag.and @op u r quite lucky...and guess since he was goin out of country..got shit scared by police complaint.

The tracking no provided by seller is genuine. It will get updated by tomoorow morning. Overnite people check the phone and contents before accepting. So, it's just impossible for them to accept a empty packet and write the content as Nokia N8 and the value as 12,000 Rs. And moreover no courier accepts a package without complete details and phone no. You full address must be on the package. Its just not written on the receipt.

So, relax. you will get your phone in time, not tomorrow but latest by Saturday. Because it is shipped from Patiala which is not a Metro city. So the shipping will take some time.

The important thing for you and others dealing online is the lesson learnt in this case. Never ever deal on ebay without Paisapay/ Paypal. Not even COD. Because that is also not covered under Paisapay.

Without Chirag's help you had nothing to do in this case. So, plan a beer party for him :) .

Thats superb stuff and great thinking by chirag. You rock man. So now i guess we people at TE can buy from anywhere and approach chirag if anything goes wrong :P
