71-90K New gaming PC for a golf simulator

1. R9 7900 outperforms R7 9700X. Slightly higher single core performance is not worth considering unless 9700X is 25k or so, in which case, money saving can be a point

2. Your call. Check reviews by Gamers Nexus, Tom's Hardware, etc. Don't follow AIO market a lot as I will never buy them. Check for brands with 5 year warranty.

3. Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX still remains my choice although it is not white or silver.

4. MSI MAG A850GL White - https://www.pcstudio.in/product/msi-mag-a850gl-850-watt-pcie5-power-supply-white/ as suggested by @PunkX 75 looks great

5. Cheaper fish tank - https://mdcomputers.in/product/deepcool-cg-series-mid-tower-cabinet-r-cg580-whnda0-g-1

6. Extra fans - https://elitehubs.com/products/arctic-p12-max-120mm-cabinet-fan-white
(Poor value for sure but you are paying for aesthetics at this point). Maybe consider for a traditional white case, not fish tank? I got my friend Lancool 216 white or can consider CM TD500 Mesh White.

1. R9 7000 is 5K more so likely worth it

2. Will do

3. OK. Will have to decide between 16K for black or 21K for white then

4. That is 850. Want to future proof with 1000w. Is ANTEC a BAD PSU?

5. and 6. THANKS

The PSU you listed isn't bad, at all. It's a tier-A unit. It's not the quality of the PSU in question here, it's spending on wattage you won't likely need, even for a 3080 Ti. I have a 750W with a 3080, and it works just fine. 1000W is unnecessary for the config you have in mind, even accounting for future upgrades (unless you will definitely be getting a 4090/5090).

1. Because the 7900 has more cores/threads. Better for simulators/video editing.

2. It's fine for Aesthetics + performance. You can get it for 10k - https://computechstore.in/product/deepcool-ld360/?gQT=2

3. ASrock B650 PG Lightning. Great VRMs at a reasonable cost. Will easily handle a 7900. Only con is no onboard BT/WiFi - https://computechstore.in/product/asrock-b650-pg-lightning/

4. MSI MAG A850GL White - https://www.pcstudio.in/product/msi-mag-a850gl-850-watt-pcie5-power-supply-white/

5. Case & fans @OMEGA44-XT may be of better help.

Thanks - will get the 7900 and the Deepcool 360

Will the Gigabyte b650 Aorus Elite a BAD unit or do you guys think it's only bad value? Then I'm willing to spend for the white aesthetics.

These calculators aren't exactly accurate but will give you a rough idea of how much of a waste 1000W will be.

In time I will likely upgrade the gpu and hence the buffer. Also why I want this cpu and system to be future proof for at least 4-5 years.

Really appreciate your help.

Is this a reliable website? PSU is much cheaper here.

I had run a calculator but now realise that I had run it with the 9900x and the 9800x3d.

Edit: It still shows 900w

Yes, elitehubs is 100% legit.

Newegg shows 900 watts and PCPartpicker shows 654 watts. This is nuts.

MSI is showing 900 and Bequiet is showing 814w.

In what you have shown as 543 watts, you have not added RAM, storage and cooler. Maybe thats the difference?

Asrock, Gigabyte & MSI are having good motherboards with good VRMs. Check with Hardware Unboxed videos from YT titled Best B650 boards from a list of 56 boards tested.

Don't buy Antec PSU's man as I am telling by experience. Sometimes the on-line seller who sells you the Antec PSU is directly importing from Antec Hong Kong and selling it here where Antec India does not take responsibility in case of any RMA but tells you to ask the on-line seller instead. Now after they process the RMA they are not sending back any equivalent unit but sending an inferior unit as replacement. So go with Cooler Master, Corsair, Super Flower Leadex, Deepcool, MSI & NZXT. Check the PSU Cultist list once before going with the selection. Also don't ever go with any Gigabyte PSU's as these are sitting time-bombs.

In Be Queit PSU Power Calculator its showing maximum wattage required is 849watts and is recommending 1000watts Gold PSU.
In MSI PSU Power Calculator its showing maximum wattage required is 967watts and is recommending 1000watts Gold PSU.
In Corsair Power Calculator its showing maximum wattage requires is 900watts and is recommending 1000watts Gold PSU.

In all above 3 calculators I added all above mentioned components along with fans that can be put in the mentioned Case.
